Every time someone asks me how to animate or how to draw, I throw in your name with no hesitation Jazza.
Good idea, im gonna do the same!! hahaa
Same
Holy shit jazza, you're my hero! I've been struggling with this for a long time. All other tutorials over complicate this. This tutorial however is rather nice to follow.
Sweetcommando I wonder how nobody noticed you
You lost me at "I have to draw a circle". xD
Sorry, i should have been more clear ;)
Ilman Here's an explaination:
You have to draw a connection of all the points that have the same euclidean distance to a point M with distance r.
I'm trying to figure out how to draw people, and your videos have been SO helpful! Thank you so much, Jazza!
before I drew humans like potatoes... now I draw real potatoes!
Purna Blooper that's awesome!
*drew
Purna Blooper SAAAAAMME
@@bluebell560 what???
@@sammybandi8003 I corrected their grammar. idk what it said instead instead of "drew" before, they've edited their comment to correct their mistake now.
Love the cylinder idea! hadn't thought of that before :D that makes things SO much easier. thanks Josiah! Excellent tutorial as always
I can't believe I paused at 6:11 and tried to figure out the faces on my own 😢I did pretty well but it was hard work. Unpaused and was FLABBERGASTED that Jazza was explaining his process! After so long being self-taught, having to fight for every technique and skill on my own, this is a nice change of pace. Thanks so much ❤
"I'm gonna reproduce this head."
Jazza? You're getting creepy. xD
I love you
I love you too

Wow that cylinder technique is awesome
Just wanted to drop in and say I really appreciate the tutorial voting system. Great to have a voice in this ^^
Oh my gosh this has been so helpful!! I've been trying to get the faces to turn a certain way but I just gave up from frustration after a while. Thanks so much for the video!! :D
OMG, I'm so glad that I found you! You gave me inspiration to draw again. So thank you.
Very well explained and broken down
Hey Jazza I was wondering I love your videos and I was wondering if it was okay if we could download videos. Many times I'm not around places with wifi.
3D modeler can help you with angles, you can use free ones like blender. you can build a simple scene with cubes and see how to do perspective.
I've only mastered drawing people at a front facing angle, profile view and and a 3/4 angle. Anything else just looks bad. Also I suck at drawing males ;~; they always end up looking more feminine O__O I mean that's ok if I want a feminine character...but not a manly one
+Bethany Francia Same here (but i cant draw feminine) :D
Just keep practicing! Jazza had a similar problem himself: For a long time, he was very hesitant to draw females, because he couldn't accurately portray a feminine figure. But he conquered that fear, and just kept practicing, and now he's great at it!
Don't give up :) If something is challenging, you know you're going in the right direction.
Bethany Francia make the chest bigger, make the hips a smaller that's how I do it
You could draw me for practice. ;)
Hello, Jazza! Thank you for inspiration and best tutorials I ever seen! I only start drawing not so long ago, and I am looking forward to a new awesome videos and tutorials from you! Your art is very cool!
Something that was kind of enlightenting to me is drawing a looking up or down wards character in a side view and then right next to it turning the character around and drawing it on the extreme angle. I don't know it makes it way easier for me.
Thank you so and sooo much for this! This will help me alot, i've had some trouble with drawing heads like 3 quart so this will absolutely help me alot!!
Thanks for doing this Jazza! :)
thanks for taking the time to explain. helped alot!
Thank you very much Jazza . I was learning this in my class and it was very helpful ...
You're awesome always love your tutorials learn more in these than I do in my animation classes
I believe I suggested something similar to this topic with extreme angles and perspective of subjects from above and below. Thanks for always listening to your audience and sharing your experience, Jazza! :)
Frankly, this is the think I've been trying to figure out today. Thanks!
Anybody else watching these nonstop at one in the morning because you drew one bad thing after not drawing for 3 days and all your skills have just gone into space. Please tell me it not just me
Bless this man
I think it would be great and very helpful if you made a tutorial on how to build an art portfolio
Yep Jazza that top head really threw me off and felt impossible to get right. My circle trick wasn't working on that one.
Simply the best!!!
When are you planning to upload the winner of the monthly challenge. Their works really inspires me.

Incredible video! It was very clear and I learned so much about it. Nice Job :D
Jazza can you make a video on putting both foreground and background into the same perspective? I'm pretty lost in this topic
This video HAS been useful. Thank you :) Oh, and you're very cute.
Wikid (i.e. truly awesome)Jazza!!! Thanks for this and all your vids and books :0)
Quick Realism Art tip: The top of the ear is parallel to the center of the eye, and the bottom is parallel to the mouth. :)
Can someone tell me what brush is he using in this video, it looks so cool :P
Ty ^^
great channel, I'm glad I've found it
Such a great video 😀😀
Hey Mr.Jazza.
I have watched a lot of your videos and loved it.
I also watched your studio tour's video.
So.....
...
I wanted to ask you a questions.
I know thaat this might sound a bit weird but....could you please...make a tour video off your entire house?
your videos are so good, so simple but so in depth also :)))
jazza you nailed it , my friend i love this im going to share this in my how ti draw people on face book i always share your vedios this is way better , i love the way you explained detail to detail of drawing the head , thanks my british friend 😀😁
He's an Aussie tho--
thank you for this video!
helped me a lot :)
Hey Jazza!
I really enjoy your videos, (I've been scouring through and watching a lot of them,) especially your character design sessions. Your videos have even inspired me to start my own sort of "Draw With" videos.
Anyway, I was wondering if you were thinking of doing a sort of "extreme view" tutorial. Worm's Eye view up at a human figure, specifically. Something with extreme distortion and drama in comparison to what you have here. Thanks for the videos, keep it up!
Loving it!
could you maybe re-do the facial construction video?
you are amazing , jazza
First off, great video. Good tips especially about the cross contour lines. I think my drawing today turned out terrible because I kept forgetting the 3D nature of what I"m drawing. And finally, I have a question: What should an artist say to themselves when they keep studying and practicing but don't get any better? I mean I can't quit, I don't have that option. But my self talk is getting really negative. I find myself thinking things like "It's too hard for you. Youre always confused. It's too confusing. It's too much to do, too much to remember, too much to be watching all at once. It's been 6 months and you don't have one decent drawing to show." I need something else to tell myself. And I can't tell myself what I used to: "You'll get better. Next time will be better." Because I know that's just a lie. Next time is most likely gonna be the same bullshit as this time. Maybe I'll make a different mistake or forget a different thing, but next time will be just as bad for some other reason.
"I'm gonna break the jaw" D:
Man you're awsome!
This was really helpful!!!
Very informative my Aussie friend.. Cheers.
Hey Jazza I've been watching you're video tutorials for quite a while and I have to say you are an amazing artist and animator self employed to am I correct? your'e tutorials really go in to detail and I find where some drawing books fail, video tutorials are the next best thing. I find perspective difficult and I need to brush up on my anatomy I have a book but it goes in to Latin terms and I can't remember their names. I'm also trying to get the three basic fundamentals down with when drawing including what angle I want it to be viewed from the three include basic construction, adding features then shading I've always had trouble with going stage by stage as I seem to have a bad habit of drawing the head or half the body then add features its really annoying but I will continue to watch you epic videos. I particularly liked the one which was called How to Compose a Dramatic Scene - Angles, Framing, Asymmetry etc keep up the fantastic work Jazza :D.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! This helped so much :D
You posted this on my birthday 🐝
Thank you!
Hey jazza, could you do a gesture video
Really helped out! thx
Holy shit
Nice channel
Thank you very much Jazza. I love how you explaine those things. Could you also do a tutorial how to use the different level in your Art program.
P.S. I hope you can unterstand what i have written, because i am from germany ;)
do you sometimes use copic markers?
or do you have some? If you do, a coloring with copics video would be really cool.
Thank you
May I ask what that leather half-glove thingy on your hand is?
it's called a smudge guard (i think) it prevents smudges on his tablet
It's not meant to prevent smudging, because the tablet wont register your hand. It's a friction glove that reduces the friction against the tablets screen.
It's also meant to combat smudges from sweaty palms, since a lot of people suffer from clammy hands including myself. Not just that.
I think it blocks his electrical signal so that he can place his hand on a touch screen without interacting with it.
supper helpful !!!
Great Video really helpful
I did not even know this existed! :O
Could you make a tutorial on how to repeat a drawing you just can't do again?
I guess just trace over it if you're having trouble replicating it.
If you are trying to change the size there are tools for that. Also you can use a projector (with much frustration).
Theres no way in hell I'd still be attempting to draw if it wasn't for you man.(:
6:55 Prince Zuko thinking about honor
interesting and helpful
When are you uploading the Monthly Winner?
thank youuuuuuuuuuu!!!!
One thing I'm still figuring out is how to make the nose look normal in a profile of a person. I usually draw people from the front or back or 3/4 angle but the nose from the side fucks me up all the time
I really need to watch Jazza's old videos :|
Hey Jazza, i just wanted to know if you use a graphics tablet that has an inbuilt display, or do you use the computer screen with a graphics tablet that doesn't have a display. Thanks!
love it
I'm trying to do this and it's not working since I have do do it from a frontal view for my drawing :(
ok I've been doing this for 45 minutes and it's not working out lol
