I appreciate your honesty because clearly people will received their packets and will be able to see for themselves and decide. It is your opinion and you are entitled to it. It is your right. I find that you were not disrespectful with your review of the product, on the contrary you tell it how it is. I love how sweet Linda is but the truth is her stuff is very expensive. I used to received her subscription but I decided to cancel it because it was almost $70 and compared to Graceful Muse Paperie or Sterling Ink is not much difference in what you get and you pay less than $40. Of course we want to have our moneys value regardless of how kind and nice the owner is.
Becky - you keep doing you!! Your subbies love your honest opinion and your videos! Sorry the trolls came out after you! Hope you are feeling better!! Happy Holidays!!
I love your honesty Becks. Honesty goes a long way. It allows us to make the decision on whether or not to purchase anyone's products which is why I subscribed to your channel. I would never want to feel like I was duped into purchasing any item because of fake review. Actually I saw this same thing last year or the year before with a company who charge a lot but didnt give monies worth and no one said anything and now hardly anyone purchased their advent calendar the following year because they felt duped the year before. Today ... they are still talking about how they were robbed in a planner zoom meeting I attend on Sundays 🤦🏾 So content like this is important and appreciated. TFS Be Blessed.
So I Watched your Review and I do have to agree with you. I am a regular Customer on TEMU and when u unpacked some of it i knew that this box is not worth its money. And u have every right to say what is on your mind. Its your Channel and your opinion. And if someone don’t like it oh Well get lost!
this was great I love the honesty and when you do something like this your not going to please everyone which is fine, and when you buy something like this you know your probably not going to like every single item and that's okay too... I don't get the negative comments lol This is an honest and respectful review Becky had said many times she loved a lot of the items as well. and I defiantly understand the regular paper items though with spending so much... I'd also rather something like this be able to test time and be more durable when moving them from planner to planner. for 136 Pounds is 245.02 Canadian... like personally not something I'd spend 245.00 + tax(maybe if not already included) and shipping etc. I agree with most of Miss Becky's points.
It looks like cheap stuff from TEMU is bundled up for luxury pricing. There must be way too many plastics!! Save the Earth, mate! Thanks, Becky, for your honesty!
Hello! I opened mine last night and was just thrilled!!’ 💕 very pretty, and thoughtful with “junk journaling” & “scrapbooking” in mind. This box I think helps us be more creative, think outside the box and learn how to put it al together to make our own beautifies within our journals and planners. I don’t want to be too repetitive so if interested I’ve left other comments on here 💕. Enjoy! @Mimiplansandknits
Can people stop now please. Becky is recovering from an invasive medical procedure, and doesn’t need people coming here and attacking her when she has already spoken to Lynda and worked it out. The video wasn’t even that negative, and the very last thing she says is how much she loves one of the items. Peace out, season of forgiving and all that.
@crystalplanss I don’t disagree, but as far as I am aware no one is going to Lynda’s own social media pages and leaving negative comments, either as direct attacks or reviews of her products. She doesn’t have to come back to this page to read the comments, whereas Becky gets direct notifications.
@@LisaStamey1587 It really is unnecessary. I don’t care who it is you (by you I mean people in general, not you personally Lisa) believe is right or wrong, just block and ignore, and move on with your day, don’t escalate this and become the problem.
I didn’t renew my subscription: I did really like her designs, but l;Ike a lot of people hee I just thought it was way too expensive (a full year of Sadie’s Stickers decorative sub is WAY less than the price of Lynda’s 6 month’s Deluxe kit). And looking at this advent I’m glad it was sold out when I checked the website 😅
The items are beautiful and I guess it still adds up to being a good deal if you consider the individual prices...That said, I'd be livid to find paper printouts in an advent calendar I paid GBP129 for. Make it 149 if you need to, but offer those at least laminated or on vellum or sg. Again, I love the design and appreciate the time and effort that went into it but at that price, you can expect a premium, almost luxury, product. That does show through in the hand wrapping and all, but no paper printouts pls.
Hello!!! I bought 2 (1 for me snd 1 to piece out for those who couldn’t afford or didn’t want the whole box). I live in the US. Honestly taking away the pink bag, paper cutter, markers, paper print outs and giant clip everything else would retail in her shop for $355, so honestly I think it’s a great deal!!! I love the Vellum, Washi, PET Tape, Magnet, STICKER BOOK, and all the sticker sheets are just so beautiful! Lynda put her heart into this along with her team; husband, mother-in-law and her brother. I also bought her PET Tape Box and Washi Box to sell samples and loops to whomever didn’t buy the whole box….but their so beautiful I’m definitely keeping 2 loops from each PET tape roll and will keep more than half the washi. I hope people reconsider and look at this objectively, look at each piece and really evaluate if you’d buy it? If not that’s okay but I definitely love the bow and all the other things I mentioned 💕
Fair enough, love, but you are comparing to her prices, not what the items are generally sold for in other shops? I do love Lynda’s designs, but her shop is just a little too expensive for me 😢
I am gutted I missed out on getting this. I have a couple of advents calendars due but couldn’t really get another with my house move. Can’t wait to sit down and watch this (and be very regretful I’m sure!)
I think her stuff is beautiful, but she asks way too much for items you can get in another shop for a 3rd of the price... like asking $10 for a piece of vellum where others ask maybe $2-$3... even $5 would be high... I understand wanting to make a profit off it, but there is too much competition out there to ask $10 for a piece of vellum.. and I've seen a lot of that stuff on temu... i also love her collection with niya paperie, but $200 for a folio with a company we can't even trust is good craftsmanship.
100% agree! I got the December subscription to try it out for the first time, and basically for $100 that's not something to dish out every month. Love, love her stuff. If anything I'd go back to Sterling Ink subscription or Faded Chronicles.
I think lots of things are like that, for example Handbags and Cars. Why does Louis Vuitton charge $1600 for a tote when you can get one at Walmart for $10? Or why does BMW charge $83k when you can get a Toyota for $23k? It’s all about style and being a Designer… Yes there are plenty of cheaper sticker shops to buy from and think it’s great the variety that is out there to meet people’s budgets. It’s all personal taste, what one can afford and what they’d like to spend their money on. Her sets are beautiful and if subbed to the monthly it $55 and shipping for quite a bit more than Sterling Ink (whom I also buy) for $35/mo. When looking at it that way it because a unique treasure that’s found. 💕
@@DesertGalmaybe its the shipping that cost so much? But paying almost $100 a month for something when i can get two subs for that price .. idk i get what you're saying but its hard when we see all the beautiful things but because they are overpriced we cant afford them.
@Chaos_and_Creativity Yeah the shipping is $10 for tracked or free if over $55 I believe…Archer & Olive charges the same and they’re still within the same country. And recently I just heard shipping went up statewide. If there’s something you like that I’m willing to part with and you live in the US I can completely share with you for a great price. I have so much vellum and cute trinkets and can’t use it all. I’d love for everyone to be able to have Rosey’s stuff 💕. I’m not in any journaling or planner groups that but, sell, share or swap but I’m on here. 🤗💁🏻♀️
I do know what you mean! I got mine yesterday and was so excited. But my feelings changed as I kept opening the numbers. I was not thrilled with the items more than anything in this box. I was thinking more Graceful Muse advent 2023 for this box. Don’t get me wrong; I love, love Roseys stuff!! I got the bossy lady box and it was gorgeous!!!❤❤ But for the $183 I paid for this advent calendar, I expected more. This by far has been the most expensive advent calendar (stationary, journaling) I have ever gotten.
I don't understand the negative comments :( why would anyone want u to be anything but honest?!? I don't have a lot of extra $, but when I do I want value. I loved the theme, I just wish there would've been a kit included. That was disappointing! I've been planning 10 +yrs now. I've never seen an advent calendar not have a kit included! It's something I look forward to! Josephine Bow Designs was 1 of my faves!!!!!
@cozy_mona I didn't say I didn't have any $, I said extra $. When u buy something, don't u want value? & I've seen a lot of planner advent calendars & I've never seen one that didn't have a kit included.
@@Oceanbreezes2002 the rosey life planner only does sub kits - not box layouts or functional stickers per say and from what I remember has never had "kits" in her shop or in any of her 3 other previous advent boxes. She does 10 sets of deco sheets and this is what is in this box 😂 several unboxing videos from previous years on Instagram and here show this. Her ad for the box does not say anything about a kit either so this is people's expectations getting the better of them - shame because it was a lovely box and now this video kind of ruined it for everyone didn't it
@@ChloePlanswhy would it be ruined for everyone? That's a silly statement... if people would enjoy the items in the box, then they can purchase the box. It's simple.
I totally expect in an advent that it can’t please everyone but that’s usually one item or the style isn’t your jam. But this seems way overpriced. The cheap temu add ons (bag, cutter, habit board) are like when your kid goes to a party and gets cheap favor that you trash when you get home. Those seem like after thoughts and don’t seem on brand either other than being pink. And didn’t add to any true cost of the box based on the price you can buy them yourself on Ali or temu so those just don’t go to me and I’d be disappointed. Those could have been replaced with a few sticker kit sheets or setup functional items (yearly overview overlays, planner belongs to etc stickers) and it would have been more worth. And I feel like the journal prompts and other papers should have been on sticker paper at a minimum but really on vellum for the cost. This is a very expensive advent box.
thank you!!! A comment coming from someone who's been in the planner community for years, who's respected, and started their own business... not just fans of a business taking it way too personal! I'm so upset for Becky having to deal with this when she wasn't unkind at all.
I appreciate it is small business, but if nobody is honest how can they improve? I don't think you are wrong for giving your honest opinion. If it had been me I don't think I would have been as polite. I can see a number of things that were picked up on a Chinese shopping site. I think if you add up the cost of the contents you are looking at less than £50. If we allow say £40 for staff time then the most that should cost would be £90 and I'm being generous there. I was going to buy her December set as a treat because it was beautiful but this has put me off. Nothing that you have said, just looking at the contents. I don't think they really considered the customer and what someone spending over £100 on an advent calendar would want. If I'm cynical it looks like a money grab from their customers.
I would be a bit annoyed if I paid over £100 seeing as the clip highlighters and bathroom tasks are from Temu as I have them which I got for under £1 each. I agree some of the printed stuff could have been laminated. I love her stuff but for an advent I would be a little disappointed. That art and washi are beautiful though.
@@Chaos_and_Creativity I’ve not shopped her stuff before only what I e seen online and it does all look lovely. I would have expected better for the price esp as some items are on Temu for under £1.
@@clairemarie7084her stuff IS stunning... it truly is beautiful... just way more expensive than other companies that have just as much beautiful items to offer.
I'm totally with you. Some of the pieces are gorgeous. The rest are very disappointing. Some seem very cheap and the kind of thing you would give a child. I didn't think we would get so much washi as you said, she did a separate washi advent.
Great honest review. For a minute I had fomo, but now I don't. I agree with what you said some items don't go together and the paper stuff definitely could have been better. Did you find out about the missing number 25?
I strongly advise against buying products from her, particularly if you live in the US. My order was significantly delayed, taking over two months to arrive. When I reached out to inquire about the delay, she dismissively replied that it would eventually arrive without any apology. Her unprofessional behavior, including her habit of addressing customers as "honey," is further reason to avoid her business.
Whoopsididitagainco Hello! Okay I just watched I thought you did an excellent job with the video and I think your review is very fair. I would’ve liked to see some days, dates and large stickers. I would love a Rosey Posey Box, and the Rosey washi is “self-care” exercise, weighing oneself and the like. I have all the others and really like cutting them out individually putting them in my sticker book and using them when I need them. Speaking of Sticker Book, I like to use also for precutting my pet tape and storing it in there so it’s ready to use when I’d like. The Chore Chart…definitely “youngish” I agree but great for a kid’s bedroom door or honestly even for my fridge for the family. I too love the colors of the markers and stickers… Based on the comments I feel like others really focused on the negative but this box as you said is beautiful! I love her magnets too! So much to enjoy…I just have to figure what to keep as I too got her Shabby Chic Box…🤦🏻♀️. But I’ve posted most for sale under retail so it’s a blessing for others. The Planner Struggle is real, enjoy & hugs! 🥰
I’m glad I watched this,I didn’t care about spoilers.i appreciate your opinion and honesty as always Becky ❤and have to say I’m gutted I haven’t received mine yet and after saving up for it I was super excited considering I love her subscription I thought the advert would be amazing but it looks so disappointing not only the cheap plastic stuff but all the washi and vellum 🤔 I was hoping for more items for a planner set up.its the only advert I got and I don’t think I will get one next year! Super disappointed ☹️ x
I truly hope Linda does not see this comment she would be heartbroken 😔😢 I know how hard they work Are you not part of her PR team Becky? And you commented on this? Wow 😳 I am losing my faith in humanity
@@Mari-k5i Being part of a PR team does not mean that i lie to people. I have always rained about her products and stand by that. The Advent however was disappointing to me and a lot of other people. As a business owner you need to be able to accept criticism. People paid a lot of money for this and they’re upset.
I just found TRLP by watching your channel, and was sad that I missed the advent calendar (but now I’m not, the only things I liked in it was te stickers, vellum, planner cards bow and magnetic pin) but I did order the January deluxe kit to try it out.
$144 pounds? so like, $180 cad... yikes!!! that is INSANELY expensive for what you're getting - a bunch of washi tape, low quality papers, and cheap plastic stuff that is destined for the landfill. $180 can and should get you so much more than that. 😢i hope the rest of your advents are much better!
144 GBP is almost $260 Canadian. I wanted to get her box but the cost was prohibitive. I think her stickers, washi and vellum are gorgeous and I was going to sign up for a subscription in the New Year. Sadly, given the way the business owner handled this whole situation, I have changed my mind 😞
@@BelgianCherryBlossom yeah, it is all unfortunate. I love supporting small businesses but I just cannot get behind this business given the choice the owner made in handling this whole thing 😞
I am not happy with the amount of AI stickers are flooding the planner community and those stores are expecting top money that we would pay for actual art by real artists.. I'm okay with the entire use what you can afford - even if it means you're using ai clipart but at least be honest about it..
Honestly, im surprised at how bad this advent calendar box is. Usually, her sub boxes are great, so i expected this to be phenomenal. This box is disappointing. I'm glad i didnt purchase it.
Becky don't be disheartened by the people leaving you negative comments here. I think yours is a 'true' review. Some people just seem to be 'fan girling' or really don't mind paying overinflated prices (most of these reviews seem to be USA based) I think those that can be objective realise that essentially, it's a disappointment. More overpriced temu things slipping in here and the mystery boxes. I'm reconsidering my orders with the shop for 2025 now. It could have been a great box but sadly is not.
Actually, there are also comments from Austria, Switzerland and Germany. If you show such sympathy for Becky, how is the retailer supposed to feel about such hate comments, whose products are shown in this video? Because of a calendar? People bought it voluntarily. From people who know their products, their style, their quality and their prices. It contains exactly the same things as every monthly box. And suddenly a few people are getting upset? I don't understand that.
@@cozy_mona Maybe by taking customer feedback seriously! Edit: Also you have chosen to come to Becky's page and are essentially telling her that her opinion is not valid. It's her channel and free speech is a thing. It's ok to say that something did not live up to expectations. The rosey life sub kits are highlighted in a very positive way here. It's not like she's not a supporter, just disappointed. I found the company and have made purchases based on the reviews from this channel.
@@daybreak-d8l Actually, I didn't come here for Becky's opinion. The video was suggested to me by YT and I wanted to know what was inside the calender. But I was so shocked by her feedback and some of the comments here. As I wrote here before, why does she suddenly have a different opinion just because there are a few lifestyle products in there that aren't handmade? She knows her boxes and knows that something like that is ALWAYS in there. So why did she order it and then complain about the price.
I’ve had one box from her and that was also disappointing. I’ve had subscriptions which are different from boxes. Also you don’t ever expect an advent to be ‘just the same’ you always expect more that’s just the way it is. Also there was no hate as you out it on that video at all! If you have a problem with me that’s fine but leave my subscribers out of it. They will havem back and if you dont like it then just DO ONE!!
I got her advent last year because it’s not cheap and I was sad I missed this one but now Im kinda not. Last year was great not as many washi but my fountain pen only worked for one day and I loved it but its not useful if it doesn’t work - I do love Linda and her style and sub for a year but not next year because it was a little pricey for me - hope you still enjoy it and good luck for next week we will be in hospital at the same time 😂. Im only have a week of pain treatment you are going to get your life back girl. 2025 is Beckys year bring it on🎉
$183 with shipping ! That is what I paid to get it to New York and it was definitely not worth it. The products feel cheap. The paper cutter and habit tracker felt like it came from the dollar store. There is no theme. We don't even get a full kit. No functional stickers. I agree with you on the dashboards printed on thin paper and way too much washi. I definitely expected more. 😐
Was gutted i did get this because when i see you open the sub boxes they look beautiful but so glad i saved my money now thanks for being honest Becky x
I agree with you. I got the shabby chic box and was so unhappy with it. I was scrolling through temu for zippers and came across four of her items that she got from temu. The ballerina slipper pen holder was on temu for 4.00. Or less. I can’t believe I kept finding more stuff. So sad.
Yes, the clip, pens and cutter are from temu. I have the pens and clip which I got for under £1 .I actually can't believe the nerve of these so called supporters of Lynda flocking here to attack becky and anyone who disagrees that this box is not worth the money.
@clairemarie7084 🤣🤣🤣🤣 businesses don't shop from temu! They have agents and suppliers in China that source & supply the items in bulk. Many I know are Linda's designs and I know some are from a market place in China that's what agents are for sourcing in bulk. Heard of Alibaba? Did you think Linda was trying to pass off a paper cutter as handmade. You obviously don't know her!! where do you think the sellers on temu buy the items? The same agents 🤓 - do you think planner shops are making their own pens, sticky notes ??🤣🤣🤣 Actually do not answer that 🤣 You know what is hilarious about these comments? Have you checked her website about the products information or even her terms and conditions??? Linda shares everything on her Instagram too and is very open about what items are her own and what is not! give it a break!! Nothing better to do than bad mouth a small business with untrue slander! She has not even said anything about this from what I know on her platform and I hope she has not even seen this Disgusting!!!! God help other shops this channel prs for ... Why Linda took such a PR in the first place in beyond me! You can easily tell which shops give their items for free and which don't! Extortion!!
@@clairemarie7084 No, actually this video was suggested to me by YT. I'm not just a supporter, but also a buyer. So I really want to get good products. After all, you're paying for them. I'm not attacking her, I just don't understand why she suddenly has such an opinion just because there are a few lifestyle products inside that aren't handmade. She knows her boxes and knows that something like that is always inside. So why does she order something like that if she knew from the start?
@@cozy_mona if you have watched any of Becky’s other videos you will see she ALWAYS gives an honest review. She has not suddenly had an opinion on this box. At the end of the day, she gave her opinion and a few people decided to flock to her comments to attack her because she was honest. And she also wasn’t the only one who agreed with her. She also discussed with the shop owner. Becky never likes to or wants to hurt anyone’s feelings but she does give a fair and honest review.
Lack of Theme; someone said in the comments. If you know “Lynda” this Box makes perfect sense! She’s a beautiful person inside and out with a creative mind that can’t be “Kept in a Box” so throughout her boxes you’ll find pink and bows and then the main Theme (in this case the florals & birds) along with little unexpected treasures which are a part of her signature. May seem “random” but when you know her you know it’s the beauty of how her mind works and it’s an endearing surprise to look for and find. All artists have “treasures” video game creators and movie directors have them and call the “Easter eggs”. When you spot one in a game or film, you know “ah yep this is so and so’s” game or movie. It’s a beautiful touch of the Unexpected 💕
I get what you’re saying and i have to disagree, you don’t purchase an advent calendar because someone is a beautiful person inside and out. You purchase it based of the products. There wasn’t even a kit in the advent not one planner kit. I could have said much mure than i did due to the fact that she is such a lovely person and i dont want to upset people that’s not what i am about But £144 to me is a lot of money and I didn’t get what was expected for a box that price.
@Whoopsididitagainco Hi Becky! 💁🏻♀️ I meant no disrespect, I was just replying to others comments, I hope to get to watch your video later today to know your thoughts and opinions too. This is my first Advent Kit so I honestly didn’t have any expectations but I’m very pleased and love even the paper cutter and how portable it is. Archer & Olive had their Advent Box and NOW THAT WAS DISAPPOINTING….cost twice as much as their Sub Boxes and with LESS. So that’s truly my only comparison. I do have Graceful Muse Advent on the way!!!! And I got the WHOLE KIT-&-CABOODLE; Deluxe Kit PLUS EVERY Add-on. Not all for me but some for gifts and some to sell on Mercari, an online store in the US for people again who didn’t want to spend for the whole Kit but just parts. Same with Rosey, I didn’t buy the two boxes for me but also for others and I know there’s something in there for everyone to love…but I agree there wasn’t a Full Kit per se….unless you grab all the stickers, all the washi, pet tape and vellum then that makes up a full kit + more. Expectations will always disappoint, I’d rather be excited by life and all its possibilities!!! 💕 I sure hope you’d find some lovely people to Bless with maybe the disappointing things that may bring a little sunshine their way! Hugs and God Bless you! Thank you for the video and videos, I just love catching up on your channel when I’m making my own pretty things 🥰
I agree. The amount of usable stuff in Rebel Inco in comparison is your proof. This was nice and the beautiful way you set up your planners and I think you will use all of them to the max. I am impressed by your style, but the cost is not there. Luv ya!
Honestly, I don’t know how can someone criticize the whole Calendar if only few items are not ok in their opinion. And yes, everyone can have their own opinions and it’s welcomed, but this is turning into something very miserable. People need to learn a bit of kindness nowadays 😢 Everyone who is getting the fuel to this, if you were a small business owner and someone would react and comment like this, what would you do? Or think of this as your own kids, if so many people would come and literally mob your kids like this, how would you feel? It’s an Advents Calendar, guys. Advent is for forgiveness, kindness and it is turning to a some miserable show. How can people sleep peacefully at night after letting out such comments? Just think about it for the moment
I have read every single comment on this video as i do all my videos and i don’t see one that is criticising the whole calendar. I definitely did not do that on my video. I have spoken to Lynda about the video and the comments and yes she was upset initially however she thanked me for my honesty. What you need to understand is people are upset and disappointed, the price of this advent was not cheap at all and they are vocalising their opinions. I don’t feel like my subscribers are a mob. I stand by what I said and I will always be open and honest on this channel. This is my UA-cam channel and I’m in total to my opinions and so is everybody who watches this. If people don’t speak up and say what they think then no change can happen.
The simple fact is that you are an influencer that people look up to who was on this girls PR team and you allowed comments like this from people who didn't even buy one of the boxes!! Come on they were commenting on your energy not on their own experiences they even said they had not even got it yet. WOW I see you will not see any wrong doing here so what is the point! SHAME! @@Whoopsididitagainco
@vaidasstudio17 I agree…sadly my comments from this thread were shared with a shop owner I mentioned who just threatened me with legal action for reselling. Thankfully I already have permission to resell from TRLP so that’s not an issue. But why anyone would intentionally stir up drama is besides me and heartbreaking. Stickers are meant to be fun and shared! Who cares if I buy $500 from a small shop and then give it away for free as gifts….but I guess that’s not allowed. At least I’m not expecting it for free myself, I’m actually paying for it and reselling to help promote the small shop owner. I don’t think it’s ethical to “double-dip” get paid from YT and get free merch…skews the “honest” reviews that turn out to not be so honest.
I did make the decision to not get this one because I just had a feeling it wouldn't be worth the amount to send to the states. I love her stuff but am not having regret that I didn't get it.
Gosh this calendar doesn’t really seem worth the price. Like the price is too inflated. Thanks for making the video and I agree with you! Would you have any other advent videos in the future? I love how honest you are
Hello Rebecca!why you order that expensive box if you dont like it?i cant order that kind of boxses because i really dont have that much money.i order only a few items sometimes.
Now to order that here in Australia, it would be over 300 bucks. Id be truly miffed if i paid that much money and thats what i🎉 got. I will not do subscriptions unless i get sneaks. I work too hard for my money as we all do, quite disappointing as the theme and colours are just gorgeous
I agree with you it is a bit disappointing. I'd have liked to see more stickers and more vellum and dashboards. Rather than the washi and other plastic trinkets. The quality just isn't there for the price
There is an Advent calendar for everyone, in a variety of price categories and with different contents. There are also people who buy cosmetic Advent calendars worth 300 euros. And yes, not everyone can use or want everything. It's like buying a mystery box and then complaining that you don't like the contents. If you don't want the uncertainty, then don't buy an Advent calendar. Then only buy products that you really want.
I personally think that ”being honest” isn’t just complaining when products aren’t what you would have wanted (when it is a mystery box). I also think that it is little bit rude to complain when there really isn’t anything wrong with products. You could have keep your opinions in private and let people make their own opinions of the Advent box.
You do realise that you’re commenting this on MY UA-cam channel don’t you? A UA-cam channel which I talk on. A UA-cam channel which I make weekly videos on and talk. lol a place where I give my opinions on MY channel. I just find these comments so amusing. If you don’t like the way I review products, don’t watch. It’s no skin of my nose. I will always be 100% honest with everything I receive in the Planner community.
@ I won’t watch these in the future, no problem. But I still think that people should realize that even when it is ”My social media”, they can be kind and remember that words matter. No need to answer MY comment anymore.🙄
I haven’t been unkind to anyone. I gave my opinion on products I received that I paid for. If you buy some clothes, then try them on and you don’t like the look of them or the feel of them so you take them back is that being mean or unkind? I paid the money I received the products I gave my opinion. Case closed.
How was Becky unkind at all? Being honest is now considered unkind? A business that can't take constructive criticism doesn't need to be in business. Period.
@@Chaos_and_CreativityI shouldn’t be this suprised, that people really doesn’t seem to understand, that even when you are ”honest”, it matters how you say things. Behind that small business, is a real human being, who has selected 25 items, trying to make 100 people happy, working her butt off for other people, and after all that, only thing that this youtube account has to say about this Advent box is ”her honesty”, which sounded just complaining what she didn’t like and how ”cheap” items felt. Like really? But apparently, some people just can’t relate to other peoples feelings, and this comment section has turned to be some safe place for mean people to talk crap about small business without any knowledge of anything. All I have left to say, is that everyone should remember that behind small business, is a real human being with feelings. And in this negative, and sad world, atleast you could find more positive, than negative, out of planner Advent box.
I didn‘t saw this video, because I have the advent box too and don‘t want to see spoilers. But I heard about this video and I‘m a bit confused and shocked and angry too! You‘re in her PR Team? Right, yes!!!! Sure it could be always that you don‘t like each product. Sometimes the style changes or whatever… And an advent box is a big „surprise“ you never know what you will have in it! But why only focus on „don‘t like that“? And most of the comments here are so evil! Who thinks about what could happen to a small business with these comments? Sure everyone should be writing/telling the honest opinion but please be fair! Yes I‘m in her PR team too and I know Lynds and her shop since early 2022 and I can‘t believe how much hate is here! Maybe someone here needs to think about their behavior.
Hi, I will address this right now. It makes absolutely no difference whatsoever that I am in the PR team. Just because I promote her products doesn’t mean that I have to love all of her products. As I said in my video people have different tastes and something I might not like somebody else may like. You said you haven’t watched the video so I don’t see how you can comment without having firsthand knowledge of what is actually inside the box. I am completely 100% honest on my channel and that’s what people come here for. I don’t think any of the comments have actually been hateful in any way. I have spoken her about my unboxing and yes she is very upset however she understands that I need to be open and honest.
Where do you think other shops get their products that aren't handmade? From what country? Are you angry because of 2 products made of plastic? Or what are you talking about? Let's say the to-do list. Since when can you order 100 pieces from Temu? Hmm? That would be news to me. Those who bought the Advent calendar and the monthly boxes knew what it cost, they knew that there would also be lifestyle products that aren't handmade. They knew what style they could expect from TRLP. They knew about the oh-so-expensive shipping that happens to be insured. They also knew what the quality of the products was. They knew it, but they bought it anyway. So what exactly is your problem now?
@@MoniM_ Oh, I'm not upset. I actually find the kindergarten here very amusing! 🤣Becky is the one who cries like a baby because of a few things in the box 😂😅
@@cozy_monahow old are you? She wasn't unkind in anyway. If I was Lynda I would be so upset if my followers came to another creators page and spoke this way. You and the mob defending Lynda, a grown woman who handles things with grace and kindness - not whatever this childish behavior is, would turn me off to Lyndas company in a heartbeat if I didn't enjoy and respect Lynda so much. She's a business owner and she needs to be able to accept constructive criticism. I have never seen another shops followers act this way when anyone has been disappointed in their products. They listen and make changes and grow. They don't come bully another creator. Grow up.
yeah i feel like your feelings are very valid. 144 is a lot.. i think you could’ve spent that amount on her shop (if she has one im not familiar with how her business works) and could’ve gotten more of what you wanted and be happier. i feel like advent calendars should also be slightly like getting a deal but it definitely felt like you over paid for this one :( especially when it came to the paper and the random cheap items
Hi Becky, Thank you so much for making this video! 🩷 I was a bit sad that I missed out on the advent calendar from TheRoseyLifePlanner but after watching this video I am glad I saved my hard earned bucks. I don't like to complain either, because I know that Lynda works really hard and I love her products, but as you say: some of the things were a bit of a let down and the calendar in whole maybe not worth the money (incl. shipping and taxes). I would rather purchase the washi tapes I liked in this advent calendar and then use the rest of my money for something else. 🎀
Thank you for your honest review. I do believe it was priced very high
I hope someone shares the Journaling Prompts! That's my favourite item in the whole advent.
So glad I didn't waste $250CAD!
So I Watched your Review and I do have to agree with you. I am a regular Customer on TEMU and when u unpacked some of it i knew that this box is not worth its money. And u have every right to say what is on your mind. Its your Channel and your opinion. And if someone don’t like it oh Well get lost!
Yup and so much of her stuff is on Temu for a tiny fraction of what she charges 😂
@@AttorneySmithI noticed that too. It really makes you not want to shop some places when you realize they do that.
this was great I love the honesty and when you do something like this your not going to please everyone which is fine, and when you buy something like this you know your probably not going to like every single item and that's okay too...
We come to your channel because you ARE honest, and that's what we love about you, so dont feel bad about being honest.
It looks like cheap stuff from TEMU is bundled up for luxury pricing. There must be way too many plastics!! Save the Earth, mate! Thanks, Becky, for your honesty!
I have 1 on the way. I'll watch this video after! I love her shop!
I opened mine. Day 25 is the Big pretty PET Tape .
Lynda the shop owner has some pretty serious medical issues for herself too. I think all negativity should be kept at the respectful level❤
@crystalplanss I don’t disagree, but as far as I am aware no one is going to Lynda’s own social media pages and leaving negative comments, either as direct attacks or reviews of her products. She doesn’t have to come back to this page to read the comments, whereas Becky gets direct notifications.
@@ramblingannaLynda has been receiving threatening emails and messages. All of this is so unnecessary.
@@LisaStamey1587 It really is unnecessary. I don’t care who it is you (by you I mean people in general, not you personally Lisa) believe is right or wrong, just block and ignore, and move on with your day, don’t escalate this and become the problem.
24:18 you said 25 when you opened the last washi. Maybe you just did it in the wrong order?
Maybe stick the journaling prompts into the sticker book? You can used some adhesive? I couldn't tell if the they were double sided, if so maybe not.
It’s all about style and being a Designer…
Yes there are plenty of cheaper sticker shops to buy from and think it’s great the variety that is out there to meet people’s budgets.
@@ChanelthePomstonI looked at faded chronicles and I'm obsessed! Plus it's only $37!! I may have to do the switch to them lol

What was no 25 😂

I don't understand the negative comments :( why would anyone want u to be anything but honest?!? I don't have a lot of extra $, but when I do I want value. I loved the theme, I just wish there would've been a kit included. That was disappointing! I've been planning 10 +yrs now. I've never seen an advent calendar not have a kit included! It's something I look forward to! Josephine Bow Designs was 1 of my faves!!!!!
If you don't have any money or you don't want to spend a lot of money, then you should buy a chocolate advent calendar.
@cozy_mona I didn't say I didn't have any $, I said extra $. When u buy something, don't u want value? & I've seen a lot of planner advent calendars & I've never seen one that didn't have a kit included.
Her ad for the box does not say anything about a kit either so this is people's expectations getting the better of them - shame because it was a lovely box and now this video kind of ruined it for everyone didn't it
@@ChloePlans oh that makes a lil more sense now!
@@ChloePlanswhy would it be ruined for everyone? That's a silly statement... if people would enjoy the items in the box, then they can purchase the box. It's simple.
I loved my box!
That last sentence - wow 🤯 this is nasty 🤢 how do you sleep at night?

Also I agree - I don't think it was worth the amount you paid. Hope next year it's better.
I too love the colors of the markers and stickers…
Based on the comments I feel like others really focused on the negative but this box as you said is beautiful! I love her magnets too! So much to enjoy…I just have to figure what to keep as I too got her Shabby Chic Box…🤦🏻♀️. But I’ve posted most for sale under retail so it’s a blessing for others.

I sure hope you’d find some lovely people to Bless with maybe the disappointing things that may bring a little sunshine their way!
People need to learn a bit of kindness nowadays 😢
Everyone who is getting the fuel to this, if you were a small business owner and someone would react and comment like this, what would you do? Or think of this as your own kids, if so many people would come and literally mob your kids like this, how would you feel? It’s an Advents Calendar, guys. Advent is for forgiveness, kindness and it is turning to a some miserable show. How can people sleep peacefully at night after letting out such comments? Just think about it for the moment
I am glad some people here have a bit of humanity absolutely shocked by all of this😞
Big hug Vaida for your words 🩷🩷🩷
You dont know what is in the box until you get it. It’s all a surprise.
The girl bending over on the vellum looks like she's farting flowers.... im sorry I'm awful😂😂
The quality just isn't there for the price
pretty expensive 💖💖
Sometimes the style changes or whatever…
And an advent box is a big „surprise“ you never know what you will have in it!
Maybe someone here needs to think about their behavior.
are you serious?!
she is in the PR team!!!
@@marjanwijnnobelyes she is
@@marjanwijnnobelwith mentioned that she is in the PR Team? Yes I am
So what exactly is your problem now?
you sound very angry. Calm down its a box of stuff, Karen
Ha ha ha 🤣
@@MoniM_ Oh, I'm not upset. I actually find the kindergarten here very amusing! 🤣Becky is the one who cries like a baby because of a few things in the box 😂😅
@@cozy_mona Valid point . ok
Hi Becky,
Thank you so much for making this video! 🩷
I was a bit sad that I missed out on the advent calendar from TheRoseyLifePlanner but after watching this video I am glad I saved my hard earned bucks. 🎀
