We are very thankful that both you and Nina are safe! Please be extra careful. New types of magma probably means new types of caution will be in order.
I've been watching this on the livestream the whole time and its so good to be able to see it up close as well. Please make sure you and Nina stay safe.
What I think is impressive is that the lava is moving this quickly so far away from the volcano. I liked the action scene of running from the lava haha good stuff.
Standing downhill from a lava flow is always a risk. This is amazing footage but please don’t trust monster for a second. I’m glad that both of you were able to outrun the flow.
Roman, my friend, you sound downright exhausted! Get some sleep and take care of yourself! Nina had this event covered nicely already. No need to over extend yourself. Please, get some rest!
Don't put yourselves in Danger for a video! You're a wondeful person.. Nina is a wonderful person. You both are much more important than a video, even though we all enjoy them. ❤ Watch out for each other!
Thank You for sharing this incredibly beautiful footage. If lava can surprise you and make you run, other less experienced visitors to the area should be extra cautious. God Bless and protect you and your lovely wife always. 🌋🙏🙏🌋
Please be prepared for the unexpected in such unpredictable conditions. Thank you so much for your fearless coverage. From your friends in Scotland. Take care.
I really do hope that other spectators of this amazing sight pay it as much respect to it as yourself and Nina and don’t risk their safety and the safety of the rescuers
Thank you so much for filming these amazing events so that those of us around the world can see it. Stay safe when you're out there in the field. We can't do without you and Nina!
Oops that was close 😅 I have watched your volcano updates everyday since you started. Incredible fascinating footage and commentary Thank you so much. Stay safe Roman.
Oh duuude. Got me coffee and chilling for the afternoon now this just so beautiful it really is you are doing amazingly please don't hurt yourself getting us this footage brother👍🤗👍👍✌️
I pray that you and Nina remain safe, just be careful not to get careless. Your footages are beautiful and descriptions wonderful, however it is not worth your safety if you should misstep and tumble into danger. Many blessings Roman.
I saw some lights of a couple people in the livecam near the area where the lava suddenly poured down. Noticed one moving away quickly, another was higher up, further away. So, guess I actually saw you running! Good idea... that was crazy! (And pretty exciting, huh?!) Great shots. Just stay careful.
Stay safe out there in the field. Yours and Ninas videos are really appreciated by me and your other watchers. You get up close and in places where the public cameras don't see and we love it. But please be careful. 😀
OMG! be careful! my heart skipped a beat and I think I peed a little just watching it! YIKES! I bet your heart was pounding and Nina must have had a heart attack! Thank you for your bravery and I am so glad you got out of there in time!
I’m SO glad you and Nina are ok! That must have been so scary! You sound drained, and I can see why. I’m sad to hear about the geese that died while flying over the lava. Birds are very sensitive to fumes. I just hope they were unconscious before they fell into the lava. …. You and Nina get some really good sleep, you both deserve it! It’s not everyday you have to outrun a lava river! Sending love and prayers from Oregon for safety to you Ruben & Nina. ❤️🙏🏼
Glad you are safe. Maybe it’s my imagination but the flows seem much further spread out now. Maybe it stays more fluid because it doesn’t cool as fast since it’s flowing over an insulating layer of older lava instead of the cool ground.
Great footage and successful reality check for you also. 👍🏻 Always have quick exit strategy pre-planned with no hesitation. Make them tennis shoes run, 🏃🤸🏃
We really do appreciate the time you two are putting onto your vids, which I think most that's seen em will agree are amongst the best one's. BUT PLEASE STAY SAFE .❤👏👏🇬🇧🇬🇧
This overflow was spectacular to watch on the MBL Nátthagi LIVE cam and your up close shot is equally spectacular. Good to see you looking after your own safety as well as making sure we get great videos to watch!
Wow that was a close call! Be careful out there Roman! I will miss your videos if you got hurt out there! Keep up the fantastic work on the volcano coverage! I have been watching for months and finally subbed last week!
Not just getting cooked by lava, or inhaling volcano gas. Tripping over a rock in the dark can break a leg. (playing with a BB gun can put an eye out.)
Thanks again Roman and Nina! I was struck by the big solid lumps of bright yellow (hotter than the liquid lava?) rolling along in the breakout. Any idea what they are?
I remember cautioning some posters on one of these channels about getting too close to a swiftly running stream of lava they were showing video of…and got laughed at. They said the lava was ten feet below them and thirty yards away so what could possibly go wrong? Your great video here is why I warned them. I’ll bet they’re not laughing now.
Roman I love what you and Nina are doing. I have seen one change of late. I miss when you say goodbye and God bless. I don’t know why the change. May God continue to bless you and your wife.
Nina! Very much appreciate your tireless work. Work full time, and somehow has the best footage anywhere. Stay safe my friend! I am busy looking at Google Earth, trying to figure out where the lava has been. They don't update their images very much. You would think events like this would motivate someone to work over there.
This was an especially good video that was really awesome to see and I liked the action scene of you running from the lava haha and I was happy to read that you came the the conclusion that it must be some spirits, I was thinking that myself.
I love that you talk about the volcano's activity. That Bob guy just sets up a camera and goes away. You feel like a friend after watching you for months here in Montana USA. Be careful and don't take any risks.
Roman you have a tele zoom on your phone/camera, use it! don't take risks, keep your distance! You are always very cautious, but even then, you see how quickly it can turn into something utterly dangerous. Keep your distance like i did with filming heavy railroad equipment.
Incredible turn of events Roman and Nina… I suppose you don’t need me to tell you, but do please take care of yourselves. Greetings from Romania and God bless you both ❤️👍🏻🇷🇴🇬🇧
Roast geese... Well, this is a really good demonstration of the need to always keep an eye on what is uphill from you!! At least when it's dark the glow gives you advance warning something's up...
Spectacular footage but you and Nina remind me so much of Katia and Maurice Krafft. Please take care and don't push the envelope too far like they did. For info: lava bursting out from a lake is often more fluid because it's had time to de-gas so expect more of the same in this phase of the eruption.
It has been months since I started watching, and I am still entranced by the ever-changing spectacle.
We are very thankful that both you and Nina are safe! Please be extra careful. New types of magma probably means new types of caution will be in order.
I've been watching this on the livestream the whole time and its so good to be able to see it up close as well. Please make sure you and Nina stay safe.
Be safe out there. Thanks for bringing us this almost live!
I know isnt this awesome! I love that he is uploading right from the field. It is "almost" live! so fun!
Impressive to see the lava moving this quickly. Thanks for providing my daily dosis of awesome volcano videos.
This is not even that fast, there is a volcano in Africa that has lava-flows ten times faster... up to 60 mph in some cases, try running from that.

Thank you , thank you so much.....I m having breakfast every morning watching the New videos from you and Nina....I m addict!!! ...stay safe!
Awe inspiring as always Roman. As deadly as it is beautiful, I appreciate you providing us all with your fantastic footage and descriptions.
Oh my goodness! Stay safe! Number one priority is you. Thank you for sharing x
" I run away 4 safe-a-t. " love your story telling Roman! 🤗🌱
Thank You for sharing this incredibly beautiful footage. If lava can surprise you and make you run, other less experienced visitors to the area should be extra cautious. God Bless and protect you and your lovely wife always.
🌋🙏🙏🌋
Stunning - you and Nina please be careful!!! Thanks for showing us the newest and greatest of the volcano!🙌
Spectacular! Be safe!
Please stay safe. We have been appreciating your videos and commentary greatly. Keep up the good work. Greetings from Seattle WA.
Your safety comes before getting the best pictures. Appreciate your staying on top of this event.
Thanks for all the work!
Spectacular footage Roman! Glad you were able to outrun that gorgeous lava!
Please be prepared for the unexpected in such unpredictable conditions.
Thank you so much for your fearless coverage. From your friends in Scotland. Take care.
Glad you are safe....Take care and thank you for the great filming what you do🌋
Really cool! Thanks for catching that as it poured out of Geldingadalur lake. I had really wanted to see it when it happened.
I really do hope that other spectators of this amazing sight pay it as much respect to it as yourself and Nina and don’t risk their safety and the safety of the rescuers
Grateful as always for your videos, but for heaven's sake you and Nina stay safe! Best wishes from North Carolina, USA.
Thank you so much for filming these amazing events so that those of us around the world can see it. Stay safe when you're out there in the field. We can't do without you and Nina!
OMG! Please be safe! You have provided such good coverage. Thank You! Always have a way out planned. You are a hearty man!!! Bless You!
Oops that was close 😅 I have watched your volcano updates everyday since you started. Incredible fascinating footage and commentary Thank you so much. Stay safe Roman.
Amazing footage, nice you stopped by right at that moment.
Oh duuude. Got me coffee and chilling for the afternoon now this just so beautiful it really is you are doing amazingly please don't hurt yourself getting us this footage brother👍🤗👍👍✌️

So, guess I actually saw you running! Good idea... that was crazy! (And pretty exciting, huh?!) Great shots. Just stay careful.
I saw that on the live cam also! I was wondering if that was Roman
Do you know if there are livecam archives anywhere? I wish I could see the moment from another perspective.
Stay safe out there in the field. Yours and Ninas videos are really appreciated by me and your other watchers. You get up close and in places where the public cameras don't see and we love it. But please be careful. 😀
I secretly sneaked to UA-cam @work, just to comment how happy I am that you both are safe! 😊 This looked really dangerous!
Unbelievable, pahlease be careful! Glad you are quick on your feet! This is just amazing! What would we do without you to share this! Big hug!
Nina's footage of this event is also impressive. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe, as always. :)
OMG! be careful! my heart skipped a beat and I think I peed a little just watching it! YIKES! I bet your heart was pounding and Nina must have had a heart attack! Thank you for your bravery and I am so glad you got out of there in time!
I keep forgetting this is liquid rock and not just red water, flowing so far and so fast. Great vid. I fear you may get cut off.
Roman and Nina hypnotized by the lava almost get overrun. Nobody follows the lava flows like Roman, great work mate thank you for sharing
I’m SO glad you and Nina are ok! That must have been so scary! You sound drained, and I can see why. I’m sad to hear about the geese that died while flying over the lava. From my understanding its the heat that kills you before you land if you where to fall into a lava lake.
OMG when did that happen?
Im in Oregon too
Please stay safe. Thank you for the video. She's unpredictable. 💜
I'm glad that you and Nina are safe! You sound a bit exhausted. Nar has kept you up many, many nights - Perhaps a few too many! Thanks, as always.
Glad you are safe. Maybe it’s my imagination but the flows seem much further spread out now. Maybe it stays more fluid because it doesn’t cool as fast since it’s flowing over an insulating layer of older lava instead of the cool ground.
Told ya to watch your exits routes the other day. Stay safe.
Great footage and successful reality check for you also. 👍🏻
Always have quick exit strategy pre-planned with no hesitation. Make them tennis shoes run, 🏃🤸🏃

stay on top mate... after the a'a seen before, pahoehoe could be expected just as now and it might get even faster.
Wow that was a close call! Be careful out there Roman! I will miss your videos if you got hurt out there! Keep up the fantastic work on the volcano coverage! I have been watching for months and finally subbed last week!
I appreciate your videos. I cannot make the trip over the Iceland, so I rely on you to show us what we cannot otherwise see !
Wow this is so fantastic and your a real trooper for all the time you have put in for us to watch ! Thank you please be safe !
Greetings Roman and Nina. You have a real instinct for this place :)
That is so scary but fascinating
Good to run. Swimming in lava can have unfortunate outcomes. Thanks for the great coverage you always bring us.
Stay safe Roman and Nina. Love the videos but not worth hurting yourself.
Not just getting cooked by lava, or inhaling volcano gas. Tripping over a rock in the dark can break a leg. (playing with a BB gun can put an eye out.)
Wow! Amazing footage of the breakout!
You are very brave, appreciate the footage and education on volcanic behaviour !!! Love from California .
Thanks again Roman and Nina! I was struck by the big solid lumps of bright yellow (hotter than the liquid lava?) rolling along in the breakout. Any idea what they are?
giant bolders of semi cooled lava
Brilliant videos as always. Hoping to be there on the 23rd. Might see you there!!
it's glowing very bright - fascinating!
Thx for the video ♥
I remember cautioning some posters on one of these channels about getting too close to a swiftly running stream of lava they were showing video of…and got laughed at. They said the lava was ten feet below them and thirty yards away so what could possibly go wrong? Your great video here is why I warned them. I’ll bet they’re not laughing now.
Roman you must keep yourself safe. This volcano hasn’t followed any normal patterns. Please be careful of the heat and gases.
Thanks again for another fantastic video. You sound really tired, volcano filming and watching is taking it's toll on you, hehe!
You sound so sleepy. Go to bed and and stay there for extra hours. Goodnight and God bless.
Incredible scenes of an ever evolving volcano and brilliant footage as always, but please make sure that you and Nina stay safe.
Beautiful and powerful absolute insanity though running downhill so swiftly. Never have I seen lava move so swift. Stay safe everyone
Incredible video. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe!
What a sight! Once again you are in the right place at the right time and best of all sharing your experience with us. Do you have a donate button?
Good looking out sir and thank you for doing what you do 😎👍
Eek! I’m so glad you were awake and decided to run in time to take a different route after the first proved impossible! Thank you for showing this!
God bless! Stay safe you two!
Roman I love what you and Nina are doing. I have seen one change of late. I miss when you say goodbye and God bless. I don’t know why the change.
May God continue to bless you and your wife.
Stay safe, Dude. Love your work. Don't get hurt. The world needs you. 😊
We wish you all the best! Mad respect and appreciation :)
Glad you are both safe. Always have a plan.
Absolutely amazing
Yes please stay safe! We love your work and by extension, you too. So stay safe from the lava and it’s gases.
Another awesome video to wake up to. Well done…keep safe!
Nina! Very much appreciate your tireless work. Work full time, and somehow has the best footage anywhere. Stay safe my friend! The huge scale of this flow is truely mind boggeling
Roman you have a tele zoom on your phone/camera, use it! don't take risks, keep your distance!
You are always very cautious, but even then, you see how quickly it can turn into something utterly dangerous. Keep your distance like i did with filming heavy railroad equipment.
Incredible turn of events Roman and Nina…
I suppose you don’t need me to tell you, but do please take care of yourselves.
Greetings from Romania and God bless you both ❤️👍🏻🇷🇴🇬🇧
Wow, I first thought the title is clickbait, but that was really fast, take care! Stay safe, we really enjoy your videos!
Thankyou very much for showing us.
Roast geese... Well, this is a really good demonstration of the need to always keep an eye on what is uphill from you!! At least when it's dark the glow gives you advance warning something's up...
Great work! Our world is one awsome place...
Enjoying your volcano posts all the way across the world in Australia🇦🇺- keeping them coming
Glad you lived to learn the lesson. Stay safe brother.
Oh my goodness please be careful. ❣❣❣
I saw Nina's video before I saw this one.
Stay safe. Thank you for the videos. Good luck. 👍
Thank you for the wonderful videos!!!
Thank you. God bless you.
Thank you for sharing. Stay safe!
Running out of additives to write about the lava flow. The heat,,even at a distance, must be tremendous! Appreciate all your efforts.
The gift that keeps on giving
Thanks for your footage and please stay safe.
