Loreen’s latest eurovision win brought me back to this, I was obsessed with it after her 2012 win. Love the rawness of this version, and much better than the over produced album version in my opinion. After seeing her perform in front of 20000 people in Liverpool, funny to see the blank reactions in the shopping centre. Been quite a journey for her!

As has been said she was still relatively unknown here. She had competed in Melodifestivalen but her song hadn't made it to the final and although the song became quite well-known most people didn't realise she sang it. After competing in Melodifestivalen 2012 Loreen became very famous very fast. I see a bright future ahead of her now. :)
People writing comments about how it's no big deal about Loreen's sexuality are the ones making it a bigger deal to be honest. Shame really. However, this song is great and I eagerly await her album.
Loreen hasn't said that she's bi. But on the other hand she has said that she's of the philosophy "love is where you find it". Because of that I believe that she is a very respectful and tolerant person and I don't jump to any other conclusions.
It matters because some young girl or boy in Sweden (or somewhere else in the world) who is scared shitless about having these weird feelings, might see or hear that such a talented and accepted artist identifies as being gay/bisexual/lesbian/transgender/etc. and think..."Maybe things will be ok....i'm not alone...." and that might make their journey just a tiny bit easier in this life....that's why it matters....
