Actually we do know how fast you need to go in order to make 37 years pass. You can use a time dilation calculator. Travelling at 0.9999999998815 times the speed of light, or 299792.5 km/s, for 5 hours (assuming the length of the perceived flying time for the aircraft), the time observed to pass on earth by those in the aircraft would be about 37 years.

The only issue is that they would travel many (MANY) times around the Earth at that speed for that long 😬
That is incorrect, this is similar to the twin paradox. Gravitational time dilation would cause a time difference, not relativistic time dilation.

That’s a very bad paraphrase(not quote) of what he actually said and meant.
It’s more about advanced science, looking like magic, to those who don’t understand it.
For example: the “disappearing” allied planes in the WW2 battle for the Atlantic, from the German U-Boat crew’s perspective. When in reality the Allies were just fitting lights to their submarine-hunting aircraft, so they would blend visually into the day or night sky at will.

There was an actual documented account as far as I know from a British fighter pilot squadron that took off for a routine training or patrol flight, they then disappeared for anywhere between a few seconds to a few minutes, the leader noticed they weren’t where they were supposed to be and he said that they travelled to the future and he didn’t recognise the area

Anyways, I was at a mall in Maui, Hawaii in June 2014 and I found a news magazine headlining that a Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 aircraft was detected under the ocean and that an expert was able to confirm it through radar images! I was almost convinced by it!

I celebrated my birthday twice in one year once. I had a flight from korea to new york. I celebrated my first birthday in the plane on august 11 before the plane passed the international date line and when I arrived in new york, it was the 10th of august at around 2200H nyc time. I had to wait 2 hours again for my second birthday lol.
Once I flew from DFW to LAX and eventhough it was a 3 hr flight, I landed only 1 hr after we took off. I could tell by everyone silence when we landed that we had enter the twilight zone

There was the story of a plane that started descending then suddenly disappeared. Emergency crews were sent out and nothing was there. 10 minutes later the plane appeared and landed normally. Can't remember where I saw it but usually brought up in these sort of things.

The flaperon from 370 was found so...most probably it crashed ...just that the fuselage wasn't found probably due to the high impact and it just disintegrated.Searching deep oceans is no joke due to its sheer size and there is an extremely high chance of missing the debris in the search.

Well my great grandfather was in the flight from NY and my grandfather was like 15 or so, he hasnt found his dad since and he talks about it even today. He also tells that the last flight he took with his colleagues are also missing. They were flying to Miami.
