    I didn't even know you were uploading! But yup, Paula's Choice THE undisputed choice of rebuys...a formula I HOPE they NEVER REFORMULATE!!!!

    • @smokyblackeyes3615
      @smokyblackeyes3615 4 роки тому +16

      I think the BHA toner was reformulated. Before it was watery and now it’s oily but it works better than the previous formula.

    • @sams517
      @sams517 4 роки тому +4

      Smokyblackeyes it’s like watery, oily and sticky if that makes sense lmao. But not as sticky as it once was. Like the formula rolls around on the skin like it’s water, but it’s oily, and it feels slightly sticky cuz it takes a long time to absorb. I still feel like it leaves a slight oily film on me even if let it sit on my face for 30 mins before going in with my next step. Just me?

    • @TikalKeria
      @TikalKeria 4 роки тому +2

      I'm about to try it when it gets here. I was using cleansers with SA but it's so drying, maybe because the skin is getting wet too. I'm hoping this will be better for me.

    • @smokyblackeyes3615
      @smokyblackeyes3615 4 роки тому +1

      Sam S yup that’s exactly how it is but I think there is a learning curve to it. I’ve used it as a toner and it is too tacky for my liking and I can’t follow up with my vit c. But if I treat it like a serum, i.e., use a dime to quarter size amount, it spreads evenly, absorbs quickly and still keeps my skin clear. I follow up with vit c after 10 mins. Try it this way to see if you see an improvement in how it feels on the skin.

    Hey Cassandra! I love your videos but I just want to bring awareness to this issue for POC: the AHA/BHA peeling solution can do more harm than good for some people of color. It's definitely an overall great product but for skin of color it can cause hyperpigmentation to worsen. I thought it was working for my skin but it actually causes irritation that left hyperpigmentation. I gave it to my best friend who has Caucasian and acne prone skin and she loves it! I just wanted to put this out there in case someone else with melanin skin is thinking about trying it.

      The Ordinary glycolic acid toner is fantastic for pits! It comes in a huge bottle so it will last forever too.
      There’s a UA-camr (a guy... wish I could remember who) who talks about it in detail. It basically keeps your skin pH too low for pit bacteria to survive/thrive.

    Since watching your video on the ordinary products & using the niacinimide & zinc also the bha & aha mask, it's really helped improve my old acne scarring I've had for years... it's amazing stuff 👍🏻👍🏻
    So happy to recieve such honest & helpful reviews.
    After watching your cleansing video I've learnt how I should cleanse to remove all my make after years of not doing it properly 😳
    Currently using grape seed oil, but I'm really trying to find a good, but reasonably priced cleansing balm to remove my make-up. Would mega appreciate a video on that!!

    Hi! Please do an updated skincare routine! How do you shrink deep cystic pimples? I am patient with them but can't decide between leaving them be and actually using actives to help the process along. Are the patched the only thing you use?

    I totally love your videos. I've had acne since I was 13. I am 39 and still do 😭
    Bit risky to even mention that you left the red mask from the Ordinary on for much longer than the recommended time (I know you said you DON'T recommend it, etc.... but some people may actually think - She did it and she was fine, so I will as well... The word "influencer" literally means what it says, so be careful. Lots of love from London x
