In this video you will see Josh and Rachael board Royal Caribbean Symphony of the Seas. It is currently the 2nd largest cruise ship in the world and has so much to see. Come along as we do a mini ship tour showing off Central Park, Promenade, Boardwalk, Pool Deck and two of the specialty Restaurants in Jamie's Italian and Chops Grille. We also take in the night show at the Aquatheatre called Hiro and stay in a Boardwalk Balcony Room.

Thanks guys, honesty took a little inspiration from your vlogs along with a few cruise ones to hopefully figure out our daily vlog style since our Vegas content is more specific to an event. Loved this vlog!!! Your editing on it was fabulous and you guys are just the cutest. I snort-laughed at the overpacking comment, bc I am THE WORST at trying to to just pack what's needed instead of cramming every possible item I can think of into my suitcase lol. Can't wait to see the rest of the series!
Haha yea we pack like 3 outfits a day on vacation 😂 and used them all this trip, it was so hot and sweaty 🥵 thank you for commenting on the editing, this was tough but fun doing it this way.
Also, totally think one day we should try to get like all the Vegas/cruise combo vloggers together for a group cruise lol. OH! And! What an amazing win in the casino!!!! Love when the casino is nice on the first night!

That ship is huge! I love that Central Park area. Jaime Oliver's looked great, that burger sounded tasty. Great B Roll of the ship. Nice looking room as well. Great job on the over packing 😆. Dining room is huge ! Casino looks like its got some decent and recent slot machines. To bad its not open all the time. I spy robot bartenders, are we back at PH in Vegas? Gotta have a Starbucks. I love the open deck theater. My favorite part of the steakhouse would have been the salads, I just say no to seafood. I agree, the sear on the steak could have been more impressive. Yum, cream cheese frosting is good on everything. Sweet win at the Casino! Hiro looks kinda like a less impressive Cirque "O" show. Looked like fun. 2am pizza is always a great idea. Do you consider that dinner or breakfast? Great first day vlog guys, can't wait for the next 5 days!

We found that Central Park area to be one of our favorites for sure - it was so nice and peaceful - totally forget you are on a cruise ship at sea. Casino really had most of the games we would typically play as well. Hiro is totally a Cirque style of show. Thanks so much Hope all is well Andy and Simone!

Oh my goodness I can’t imagine with a toddler. Good for you to still be able to travel with a child though, I’m sure there is some extra work involved but still great to get out

We are Diamond Level on RCL and Celebrity Cruise Aline is a companion of Royal giving us the same status. We are currently booked on Celebrity for a 12 day cruise in a few months. You WlLL be hooked on cruising now that you tried it. We have not sailed on the Symphony yet, but we have been on the sister ships in that size. The shows, water shows, entertainment options, food, specialty dinning, casino, shopping, excursions, are the best. The neighborhoods on board are a unique layout for a cruise ship giving variety. We find cruising is a great value for a vacation. Perhaps, we will see you guys someday on a cruise. Have a Fantastic Vacation.
That would be awesome to run into you on board. We have two more booked this year. We hope to hit Diamond in the next year our two and then match to Celebrity some day!

A handpay your first night! Did you notice pinball in that high limit area? So far this looks amazing! Hey with the tipsy robot drinks, was that included in your drink package? FYI, Rachael was looking a bit glossy eyed at 2am 😂
There may or may not have been an abundance of alcohol drank in the casino… first Handpay at sea was frickin awesome and the best way to start off a trip! Tipsy robot is included in the drink package, our first time using it, pretty cool
Hi, we’ve recently been on Wonder of the Seas around the Med and have booked onto Symphony next year for Sam itinerary. We have the drinks package again. Please let me know how you ordered the bottles of water for your stateroom. Thanks.
We preorder most of our stuff through the website. Have not been able to on app, but if you use a desktop browser it is a lot easier to see the options. We found it under the beverage tab when you are in looking at excursions, dining etc. It seems that we will pretty much always do the water package if we can - it is just so nice to have in the room. Thanks so much!

For the discounts on drink packages and excursions we watched the RC sight on a frequent basis. If we book an excursion that later comes up on a sale, we will cancel and rebook at the lower price. Royal has been pretty good at a quick turnaround with the refunds once we cancel!
Depending on the time of your cruise, the best deals we have seen are Black Friday specials!

Trust me we do… we each gained over 10 pounds on this cruise. We don’t get to indulge when at home to drop all the weight between trips. Totally worth it

I did get a tax form so it seems that way. Guessing you pay taxes as if you won in the state you departed from but honestly this is my first so will need to see how it plays out

Normally it would be beer for us 🍻 but we were thinking clearly enough to not need to add another drink at that point 😂 thanks Jim!
What are the shows. I've heard there are no Broadway Type shows
Hairspray was the biggest show 90 minutes version where most shows are only 45-50 minutes. Hiro at the aqua theater and Flight at the main theater. Two ice shows.

How do hand pays work at sea terms of tax purposes?
Seems the same way as any handpay I have gotten in the past. Never had one before this so will be interesting to see when the Tax man comes around.
