S is san fransico, they aren’t ment to be in circulation as the ones made by that mint are for sets, they are also proofs, which means they have a special mirror like finish, there is probably more to this but I’m Canadian so I don’t know everything there is with the u.s.
I think the coin dealer at the end of the video did a good job educating you about the value of the coins. If the V nickel was 1913, then it would be worth a ton more, but all the other dates are very common, relatively.
Heres a tip. Im a coin hunter and if the buffalo on the nickel had an indian its a indian nickel but if it has a normal nickel on front it worth5 cents they were memorials for the buffalo nickels in 2004
Wow 👌 we both admire 😃,your patience to go throughout all of those coins 🪙. But your determination pays off 👏 and although you didn't make as much ,as your neighbour you still made seven dollars ❤. Thanks for showing us smiling and enjoyable video ,greetings from England 🇬🇧 Simon and Beth ❤❤❤
In the UK there's a rare 50 pence with Kew Gardens in London on it. I found 2 in my change one day and not knowing how rare they were just put them in the coin compartment in my car as they looked a bit different. Then one day I was short of change for the vending machine and used them... they're worth £150-200 each
So cool to see a mainstream UA-camr doing COIN ROLL HUNTING! Some of the prices you have are a bit off, lol, but that's what my channel's all about, so if you need any help if you do this again, let me know!
I have so many pennies. I separate my old ones and have books filled. You can sell copper ones for over face in bulk. Just because internet says it's worth that doesn't mean it until you have a buyer and have it graded.
for 2000 dollars you can buy a little gun which is called a spectroscope which is specialized for jewelles and metal companies ti ID metals in 1-2 seconds a piece.
Remember if your edge is shiny that means you have an uncirculated coin and if it has uncirculated on both end, that means you're entire roll is uncirculated
Mid-1982 they made the transition from copper to zinc so some are copper and some are zinc so not all 1982 are copper but copper is 3 grams and zinc are 2.5 grams and also 1943 war pennies are made from steel they also weigh 2.5 grams and pre-1959 pennies are rarer than regular pennies
My grandma used to have a lot of old coins and rare one but sadly she passed away but since she died im the new owner of the coins I will never sell it because it’s a part of my grandma collection
My dad took me to the bank when I was about 12 bought 500 dollars in halves we sorted all of them and got really lucky on the last roll we opened it like the golden ticket form Charlie and the chocolate factory all were 90% silver with some dating back to the 1920’s.
summary - It's better to get a job / summer job / part-time job / limonade stand / trim the grass / etc. and get WAY more money than this. Plus I'm always impress to see someone who is not scared of inflation.
@@etano1701I don't know what to say about starting a business. In most cases you're better off as an employee or freelancer than a business owner. I've met many who started businesses and even after 10 years they were poorer than me (so poor they asked me for lending them money to buy food). I've been an employee all my life and have zero debt, own my house and have 20 years of savings. And I've seen many rich employees like me who retire in their 40s or 50s.
Ive two pennies one is 1944 and the other 1945 both missing the mint mark...i looked them up and ebay said they both auctioned at 3,000 and 2,500...so whats the best wat to get the value for them?? I know what there worth but no one eants to pay what there worth...
yeah, never trust ebay prices. people can put whatever absurd price they want on things. very few coins that ar not gold or silver are worth anywhere near 2000
will you be the next person to legally rob a bank? 🤔😅

Im a coin collector and the pain I felt when she didn’t look for s mint marks on any of the coins was in measurable
Why? I am new to coin collecting (s is San Francisco right?) is s mint mark worth more?

Me: just don't get caught 🗿
Jenny! Another great video, and I love the thumbnail!
That 1900 nickel is NOT $2000, it’s only worth $1.25 in that condition (unless if it’s pristine).
she probably knows and just said that for entertainment value. people wouldve probably X'd the video sooner if there wasn't any hook like that.
@@DCol I think sometimes eBay is irrevelant
I knew your long-form would be amazing! Check! I'm sad the 2k coin wasn't really 2k, that would be amazing ahah
Did you find any wheat cents? Those are keepers. Dimes are also the hardest coins to hunt for silver or better dates
Nice! You made a video of searching through coins. I am coin collector, and those were some pretty neat finds, especially the silver!

ill make sure to do this next time, last time didnt go well
I really enjoyed this, great job!
in quarters from 2019-2020 there could be a "w" mint mark thats worth like 20 bucks and also i hope seeing more of this
if you get quarters then you can collect them in books by sorting by national parks. Full books go for $40+ each
😂 coins are for more money now 🤣😜
dawg spent the time to count pennies
If you find a mercury coin don't throw it or spend that one it's really valuable
