    I was looking for a floor jack and jack stand point on GS300 and came across your video. I see where how the points are for the front. Do you know where the rears go?

    Hey man can you go back to the toyota corolla and do " how to replace high pressure hose on power steering " ? I really need to replace mine. I got a corolla 1996. Thanks for uploading these videos 👍

    • @AutoFixYT
      @AutoFixYT 3 роки тому +1

      I'll keep that in mind but I have some other videos planned for now. So I don't think that one is going to happen any time soon, sorry! But it should be pretty straight forward, just hard to get to. There will be a banjo bolt fitting on the pump, thats the hugh pressure hose. Take that off, and follow the hose. It will go into the power steering rack. With a wrench remove it from there too and there you have it. The hardest part is reaching those things since it's all at the back of the engine. Maybe from underneath it would be easiest.
      Hope this helps!

    Do you know why your check engine light is on?

      Yes, EVAP stuff and a downstream O2 sensor.

    5.7 qt to fill it up. So I can use 6 qt on 2005 gs300

    • @AutoFixYT
      @AutoFixYT 7 місяців тому

      A 2005 GS300 does not have the same engine as this one. But if it takes 5.7 qts, yeah just put in 6 and call it good.

    Pretty straight forward.
    Each to his own but I would use 0W-30 synthetic oil and I would avoid high mileage oil regardless of how many miles are on the engine especially if it isn't leaking or burning oil...
    But, as I said, each to his own.

    • @AutoFixYT
      @AutoFixYT 3 роки тому +1

      I don't think 0w-30 is that great unless you live in a very cold climate. The manual recommends 5w-30 for all climates or 10w-30 for climates that are always above -18°C. Thinner oil can cause extra wear on startup.
      As for high mileage or not, that doesn't really matter. As long as you change it often, you can use whatever kind you want. Hugh mileage usually has extra additives that help keep the engine cleaner. High mileage engines tend to get a little dirtier.

    • @AutoFixYT
      @AutoFixYT 3 роки тому +1

      I unfortunately don't have a manual transmission for this because they were never sold in the US with a manual. And it costs A LOT of money to swap it. But... it's a very similar transmission to the MK IV supra or even the IS300 (Altezza) or SC300 (Soarer)

    • @AutoFixYT
      @AutoFixYT Рік тому

      6.5 quarts is almost a whole quart over filled. The actual amount is 5.7 quarts including what goes in the filter. You can put 6 whole quarts but I wouldn't go over. You don't want to fill it too much.
