If you feel chills the lord is passing through you! This song and any worship song has helped me so much in my faith! I went to a camp where we had a “fireside “ time and we sung songs like this and we worshipped the Lord! A lot of people were reborn on the last day when we had a chance to talk with our counselors about God. THANK YOU LORD JESUS!

It's wonderful to see so many positive things written here in one place. I sometimes just read the comments under the Christian songs to be reminded of who God is and what He can do. last year this song helped me break through the fear as i sat in my hospital room awaiting my first chemo treatment. with tears streaming down my face, this song flooded my mind and my spirit and i knew it was God surrounding me with his presence and his peace. i will forever be grateful for the words in this Chris Tomlin song "I know who goes before me, I know who stands behind, the God of angel armies is always by my side! I was there in Jan 2013....it is the closest we can get to heaven on earth! In 4 days of worship, I think I slept maybe 5 hours. It was a "mountaintop" experience for sure, one that I will never forget.

I cry every time I hear this line. At the ripe old age of 25, I've encountered more road blocks than most. From numerous injuries to serious mental illness, I've done it all. And I've felt the shame and loneliness that come with these and other trials that life throws our way.
But as God has proven again and again, He alone is good and He alone is faithful to complete His work in us. It has taken a lot for me to realize how much He loves me (and I'm still learning!), but this song, my family, and Jesus Christ have all given me hope for a new day. I was compelled to stand during a church prayer two weeks ago while the entire congregation was seated. While eyes closed and the prayer ongoing, I felt others placing their hand on me. One, two, four, six. I felt almost cradled in a way, as if I could just lay back and they could hold me up no matter what. Such a great feeling as I realized the God of Angel Armies and his angels were truly on my side.

We know the enemy was defeated at the cross, we know she is with our Lord God now, she was a great ambassador for Christ and now she went before all her sons to plead with God for us. This song got me through a tough time six years ago. I was in a very bad car accident and was questioning where God was in it all. One evening as I was crying out to God I had a vision. HE showed me the car and how there were angels everywhere protecting me. He showed me the spiritual battle raging in the air over the car. Satan was trying to kill me This song became my theme throughout my painful journey and therapy. Now I am listening to it again as I am struggling with something and the enemy is fighting hard.
