This is retro... but I feel this dynamic newscast should be futuristic. Going to 7 or 8 different witty and knowledgeable reporters. Even the weather graphics are dynamic. Look how bad the news reporting is nowadays. I guess TV stations don't have the budget anymore now that the internet has taken over.
It's funny that the year 2001 is now considered retro. Lol
Well it was 18 years ago! 15 years is usually our watermark for what constitutes "retro"... a decade and a half....

Ah Ontario in the 1990s to early 2000s, teacher strikes, teacher strikes, and more teacher strikes. Plus some political noise about transit and how fares have to go up to meet demand, the province not footing the bill for transit expenses, and of course subways to nowhere, funny how nothing has changed.

Man this brings me back to Dennis o Connor HS in Ajax. I still watch City news every night. I went to Centennial College and took the radio and television broadcasting program because of Citynews, MuchMusic and Chuck Swirsky lol..this is the Toronto I remember and love..the city is different..it’s all rich and pretentious idiots now
2 years before SARS hit TO, and few months before 9/11 in NYC. Now we got COVID in 2020 all over the world. Yikes!! What a world we live in eh?
if the apocalypse happened, the world would use bottle caps as currency and Canada would use Canadian Tire money.
