I have been learning for at least 2 years and still can catch only some words! Someone, please, give me a hope😊
@@juliastain1677 I've been studying for two years (after forgetting most of my high school French from 12 years ago) and I could understand it almost word for word. His accent is not great, to be honest, and mispronounces several words, which makes it a bit harder. I've made a few videos on my channel talking about my current approach if you want to check it out. Short version: watch a lot of tv without subtitles, read books, make sentence flash cards.

The reason I don’t watch films in French, nor tv, is that I am not interested in their stories. I grew up on Tolstoy and Chechov literature. Nowadays “good story” isn’t a good story for me. But for the sake of learning I must make some sacrifices 😊
Where can you stream the other chapters of all the stories in this book?!
Hi Gabriel, do you have a book about how you learned French? I have been trying to learn it forever, years of self studies, classroom lessons, private tutors etc. Haven’t gone too far. Please, help.

In certain words Your french "e" sound like an spanish "e" . (easy to correct) .
Your french "é" sounds also a bit like an spanish "e" (not so easy to correct) ,
Sometimes the french "s" is pronounced like a "z" when it shouldn't or isn't pronounced like a "z" when it should.
Seems that you focused in other languages and left behind french.
Nonetheless your pronunciation videos are of excellent quality,thanks for that :) .
He sounds native. It is hardly noticeable unless your looking for it.

Pour être quelqun qui dit que est bien capable de parler plusieurs langues et qui a dit dans le livre fluent forever avoir un niveau tres avance obtenu vite ou bien si tu parle francais depuis 2007, tu n'a pas de bon accent....

C'est un peu ça le problème des francophones. Le plus important c'est quoi ? le fond ou c'est l'accent ? Arriver à se faire comprendre ou avoir l'accent d'un français ? Lui moins il a le mérite de parler le français correctement en plus d'autres langues
@ramirocruz6461 Avant de le critiquer, il faudrait peut-être déjà savoir écrire correctement. En tant que Français natif, je peux attester que sa prononciation est bonne. Par contre, il y a quelques problèmes d'intonation parce qu'on ne lit pas un texte à voix haute comme l'on parle. Puis, l'accent et la prononciation sont deux choses totalement différentes. Beaucoup d'enfants bilingues n'ont pas un meilleur accent que Gabe s'ils n'ont pas été suffisamment exposés à la langue. Exemple concret: Timothée Chalamet. Sa prononciation est parfaite, pas son accent. Quand on l'écoute, on voit qu'il n'a pas suffisamment été exposé au français. Du coup, il fait des fautes, cherche quelquefois ses mots et a un niveau B2 - C1. Est-ce qu'il est bilingue ? Clairement non, mais il a déjà un excellent niveau que peu de personnes atteindront dans leur vie. Est-ce qu'il est incompréhensible, qu'il ne puisse suivre ou prendre part à une conversation ? Clairement, non. Même des personnes comme Sebastian Marx dont le français est parfait (et même, bien meilleur que certains natifs à l'accent "parfait"), qui fait du standup en français (donc qui passe sa vie à parler) n'a pas un accent neutre. Pour avoir un accent parfait, il faut une énorme exposition à la langue que seul un natif peut avoir. Et encore, qu'est-ce qu'un accent parfait ? Chaque région a son propre accent, quel que soit le pays ou la langue.
