Sitting on the bench outside The George Canning on a summer evening, my kids eating crisps and drinking a lemonade as the sounds of The Cool Notes float out of the doors. Prince laughing with regulars, Brenda shouting in broad Scottish accent, "drink up, it ain't a nightclub!" Chubby winding down to the final tune as we all piled into the street ready to head to Trojans blues. They were good times, good memories. Thank you Cool Notes for the background music to best of times. 👍💖

,..i left London UK BRIXTON, over forty years ago.... I have lived in America..but i never EVER forget this tune ... I used go to.. Kennington Boy's..cormont road... I think THESE guys went to my school...? And we're formally known as the " Cormonts " ,... maybe not sure...'twas.. Over FIFTY YEAR'S AGO... can't remember..
