I'm an old SF player but new to the competitive aspect of the game. I saw Latif play for the very first time a few days ago on SRK live streaming, and didn't know who he was. Now I definitely know. Amazing player, I have so much respect and admiration for him.
I've had the pleasure of watching Latif do his thing IN PERSON. He's just as insane offline as he is online. Dude tore it up at ReveLAtions this past weekend, so I got nothing but respect for him.
Wow, he makes FFF look easier than Target Combos and spamming Shoryukens! As a Viper player, this video alone helps a lot in finding ways to keep your opponent guessing upon wakeup. Much respect.
This man is a God. Watching his EVO performance brought me back into SF after not having played since SF2. Even though I ended up maining Ibuki, his out of this world Viper execution was an inspiration. Hope they bring her back for SFV soon so I can watch him tear shit up one more time!
@123shadowmilk123 Yes, a 720 is spinning the stick (or pad) in two complete circles (AKA - motion needed for Zangief's Ultra 1). Also, I feel the same way about analog sticks. I do better using the D-Pad than I ever could using the analog stick. I've heard about better gamepads, but I personally haven't tried any. I think SnakeEyes uses a different pad. (SnakEyes plays Zangief and was the EVO 2k10 champ for SF2hdr).
@123shadowmilk123 Frankly, buying an Arcade stick is the best choice. They're pricey and take some time to get used to but pulling off moves is much smoother once you're good at it.
Hi Yoga, I’m currently working on some Street Fighter 4 and 5 remixes and was wondering it would be okay to use some of your comps and replays for the gameplay footage? Kind regards, Ren
i play viper and latif is my idol. srsly if daigo is the beast and poongko the machine, latif is a beast machine. +1 respect point to whoever got that joke.
Seriously, Latif impressed me the most at EVO 2011. He defeated JWong, Tokido, Daigo and Poongko. Even if he "only" placed 2nd (congrats, Fuudo), that feat will probably be unmatched for a while.
@drahcir0789 No doubt. One of the most frustrating fights I ever had to watch was a C. Viper chip a way at a Dhahlsim at Final Round XV this year in Atlanta Georgia. Your Latif is very talented. I just wish he was on PSN so I could have a shot. I have a few of my vids up on my channel.
@auron570 The cutout on her back is in the shape of a heart Really cool Viper play. I picked up a few tricks from this. The reset in to tiger kneed burn kick on Cammy is pretty tricky!
@123shadowmilk123 Practice. Start doing them slowly until you can do a successful number of times in a row, then try speeding it up a little bit and do the same process. You don't need a Joystick, look at Wolfkrone for instance.
@HERETICPRIME She does not need to be fixed at all. Those moves that he is pulling off are extremely difficult to pull off. Just the seismo chain is already really tough and it takes literally days just to learn how to chain 2 straight consistently. FFF is even harder to pull off and to do it on command whenever you want to like Latif does is simply amazing. There's a reason why so many people don't use her is because she is so damn hard to learn that it isn't worth putting the time into it.
@8bitmario1 Good to hear that inspires me to not bother buying one, i think i'll be able to play just as well with a controller if there are people out there who are good and don't use them - i just thought they may be required to play at top game
@123shadowmilk123 It's a common misconception that sticks are required to play at a high level. Also, most famous/good players agree that it's easier to do a lot of things on an arcade stick. But pad players are extremely talented. Vangief is the only Zangief I've seen that's been able to do a walking 720 successfully in multiple situations. Same goes with other pad players. I'm a pad player myself so it's good to know it's possible.
@knoctu12n4l Im pretty sure you can focus dash out of it. Also, according to the vid, all that Sagat had to do was stand up and his hitbox wouldnt get caught.
I saw this guy play in saudi arabia and money matches in Vegas. I honestly think he is the best street fighter 4 player in the world..he beat Daigo, Poongko, Mago, Wong....Daigo was maining YUN! the strongest character in the game! oh he also destroyed everyone in the money matches! go LATIF
Respond to this video... Whats a 720? Zangief's ultra? also would you know if there are any gamepads out there that are that are perhaps... better then others? Oh and i use the D-Pad as my controller has no analog sticks, ive tried them but they just feel weird and innacurate when doing inputs to me..
I can't figure out what's actually the right way to deal with that stuff. When she gets the knockdown it's really tough and blocking her stuff is really difficult. I think her flame animation should be cut down a little bit, it's too ambiguous.
@HERETICPRIME I understand what you are saying but even in Tournament play you always consistently see guys like GamerBee, Daigo, Justin Wong, FilipinonChampion, Vangief and other guys too. A lot of them don't use Viper because of her low health. She is a balanced character and you really have to give people credit like Latif for actually taking out that much time to learn how to use her. I can't even remember the last time a Viper player made top 10 in a major tournament so yeah she is balanced
Requires a little bit more skill and is 10 times more punishable on whiff. Plus that Sagat obviously doesn't know the matchup since he has many ways to escape from it.
@Kprodigy1 u have no idea just to win i have to use all of the tactics in this video she has the best mix up and even the best players have yet to play her to her full potential
I commented 10 years ago, here's my comment again 10 years later, one of my favorites of all time.
Love brother
Latif, confirmed our first alien living amongst humans.
2:37 is the most beautiful thing i've ever see in ssf4
I'm an old SF player but new to the competitive aspect of the game. I saw Latif play for the very first time a few days ago on SRK live streaming, and didn't know who he was. Now I definitely know. Amazing player, I have so much respect and admiration for him.

The amount of perfects he gets is insane
i love juri's cutee scream at 0:54
I spent 3 years studying Viper and I’d be happy if I could be 1/10 as good as Latif.
The same here. If we are lucky we’ll get another viper in the sf6
This is like one of those anime shows where there's that one guy that emerges and dominates all your main fighters we thought were heroes and stuff..
AMAAAAAZING!!! Huge ups for Latif 2nd place EVO 2011 championships.
Dude thank you for those magic of series every single one is mindblowing!
extremely nice editing!
like, subbed and

4:25 OUCHHH
Bison's scream justified
love that "The Magic of ..." complications , good work as always
The flames of those burn kicks are what makes her crossup ambiguous.
4:25 Most epic kick to the balls ever.
Watching this in 2022 is still more exciting than sf5
@123shadowmilk123 Frankly, buying an Arcade stick is the best choice. They're pricey and take some time to get used to but pulling off moves is much smoother once you're good at it.

we both might get flagged

I'm at a loss of words. Truly incredible Viper here.
Seriously, Latif impressed me the most at EVO 2011. He defeated JWong, Tokido, Daigo and Poongko. Even if he "only" placed 2nd (congrats, Fuudo), that feat will probably be unmatched for a while.
What did you use to edit this. Its very well done!
Its not the fact that his viper is insane thats impressive, its just that he's online, which really makes him a monster
I watched this dude once on Jay's stream. Sickness.
first song is called Reach by Skrein
man 2:04 was godlike editing
Latif is top 8 right now. Let's hope he can win it all tomorrow.....EVO 2011!!!!
@123shadowmilk123 A lot of players now don't use joystick. Inthul, Vangief, and Wolfkrone are just a few names.
omg that seismic hammer spam took half sagats life!
What's the song? and Latif has inspired me to main Viper after what I just saw in EVO 2011... Amazing.
Late reply but it's an Instrumental version of 'Ultranumb' by 'Blue Stahli'
He is by far the best stylish viper ever to be seen. the way he rushes dickheads is truly amazing!!!
Just 1 suggestion for 1 of the next episodes, maybe the Magic of GeoM MoD's Guile.
@drahcir0789 No doubt.
One of the most frustrating fights I ever had to watch was a C. Viper chip a way at a Dhahlsim at Final Round XV this year in Atlanta Georgia.

Really cool Viper play. I picked up a few tricks from this. The reset in to tiger kneed burn kick on Cammy is pretty tricky!
Best part about Latif is he is the nicest and most humble person you will ever meet. Not like a lot of these loud mouth aholes that play nowadays.
that hammer spaming looks awesome almost like C Viper is saying
"RAAAAAGE"
@Kprodigy1 I'd have to agree with you there...I tried learning Viper and just gave up...She's really a tough character to learn....
The second song of this video is Blue Stahli - ULTRAnumb (Instrumental).
I want to know the first song. Anyone know?
@xxBlackSStarxx dude, when viper starts her schinanigans there is no direction but down
@kupowns Wolfkrone doesn't use a joystick? Awesome.
@123shadowmilk123 Practice. Start doing them slowly until you can do a successful number of times in a row, then try speeding it up a little bit and do the same process. You don't need a Joystick, look at Wolfkrone for instance.
You gonna make a new magic series?.
Should do Sako ;)
2:20 was my favorite part. If only this game had Guard Breaks
4:00 wasnt ballin8oh8 a troll on excellent adventures?
@HERETICPRIME She does not need to be fixed at all. Those moves that he is pulling off are extremely difficult to pull off. Skrein - Reach
is the name of the first song if anyone wants to know.
i was just waiting for this one
@8bitmario1 Good to hear that inspires me to not bother buying one, i think i'll be able to play just as well with a controller if there are people out there who are good and don't use them - i just thought they may be required to play at top game
Good shit! i meant : top left of the screen* but u got it :) thx

ADRENALINE
perfect editing
perfect gameplay
crazy execution and crazy vid! O__o
@knoctu12n4l Im pretty sure you can focus dash out of it. Also, according to the vid, all that Sagat had to do was stand up and his hitbox wouldnt get caught.
C-Viper has more aerial options than a fighter jet!
4:27 I think Bison likes this domination thing...
Wow PJS latif inspires me now... oh look, magic of making Bread Part 1...
I didn't see her doing any of that to characters like Ryu and Ken, even though I DID see one failkuma. Entertaining to say the least.
i didnt even knw you coud link a low forward after FFF vs gief, good to know
awesome sync at 2:04
@IMangame LOL, okaaaaaay, I didn't say Viper was weak. O_O
Amazing video like always man!! Thanks for the shoutout :-) ... I have a question for Latif by the way... Y U NO LOSE WITH VIPER??!!
Great video, but the music is too loud in the second half...
I saw this guy play in saudi arabia and money matches in Vegas. I honestly think he is the best street fighter 4 player in the world..he beat Daigo, Poongko, Mago, Wong....Daigo was maining YUN! the strongest character in the game! oh he also destroyed everyone in the money matches!
go LATIF
What program do you use to edit this footage?
Respond to this video... Whats a 720? Zangief's ultra? also would you know if there are any gamepads out there that are that are perhaps... better then others? Is that flame kick an overhead?
@Koenigg I was in Latif's pool, he didn't show up.
so who has the better viper out of he and wolfkrone?
@fadcdrake Uryo's Sakura you mean?
these remind me of when people use to make in game combo music videos for super smash bros.
Insane....shows how good Fuudo is
I can't figure out what's actually the right way to deal with that stuff. When she gets the knockdown it's really tough and blocking her stuff is really difficult. I think her flame animation should be cut down a little bit, it's too ambiguous.
I came here for K-Brad xD
@HERETICPRIME I understand what you are saying but even in Tournament play you always consistently see guys like GamerBee, Daigo, Justin Wong, FilipinonChampion, Vangief and other guys too. Wow what happened to him?
Did Latif make Modinside THROW OUT HIS ULTRA?!
Wow, just wow.
viper is so amazing in his hands
This vid is better than the one you did with Wolfkrone. I guess because Latif is a flashier player while Krone is more efficient.
sfirst song plsss,,ive heard it from the movie called, adulthood i think
latif is so sick
SONG PLEASE????!!!????
truly magical
whats the song at the beginning?!!
my God, he makes Viper look like a low execution character and 10k+ BP players look like they're free.
2:20 - that was evil, fucked up and AMAZING!!
2:20 and you cry when someone is "spamming" fireballs....
That's what Sagat gets for all his tiger spammin |3
Requires a little bit more skill and is 10 times more punishable on whiff. Plus that Sagat obviously doesn't know the matchup since he has many ways to escape from it.
That guy using Sagat could have escaped if he blocked standing and then jump before the frames became active.
2:21 how he does that?
2:20
The chip is incredible!
2:17 Those 2 sexy dashes jesus
Fuudo came in first, latif in second, poongko 3rd. All 3 matches clutch as hell...
@cyphi1 No different than what Sagat does...and the technique that's used to pull that off with Viper is tougher than throwing constant fireballs.
@boeken Well i've never played on an arcade and im in Australia so i'd be lucky to find an arcade machine with SS4 AE
2:40 latif said "fuck this shit" and went straight for it!
@Kprodigy1 u have no idea just to win i have to use all of the tactics in this video she has the best mix up and even the best players have yet to play her to her full potential
wow thats the ballin 808 that was on excellent adventures getting blown up hahaha
can any1 tell me the name of the song used? thx :)
