This is the first video of yours ive seen! Noone else is showing this kind of stuff from what Ive been searching. Definitely will continue to watch and subscribe!!
No specific reason; I've used both! I just find that I can work a little bit quicker in Ableton and get things to sound the way I want them to sound. But, everything is subjective! Mainstage is just as powerful as Ableton, and you can do a lot of cool things in Mainstage that you can't do in Ableton. So keep using Mainstage, and keep being creative!
Hey man, LOVE this rig setup! I am a keys player for my church and wanted to improve the sound instead of the same patch I use each week on the Nord. I have recently got ableton and a NanoKontrol2 and was wondering about how you use your controller to change so many different audio effects in different racks whilst using the same 8 knobs? A rundown on how you midimap would also be great!
Hey man! Thanks for the love. Get in contact with me, and I’d love to give you a little bit more in depth of my midi mapping, etc. My email and instagram is in the description, if you want to email/DM me! Have a good one!
Hi mate, I'm running a similar setup although I'm using individual tracks for each instrument, not using racks with lots of complete chains with its vst waiting to be used, mainly for cpu reasons as I'm running it in a 10 year old Macbook, which stans it pretty well but I don't rely on asking too much to it. Anyway, I'm using program change messages set on the clips instead of chain selector envelopes, and I have to say it have been working exactly as I wanted it to be. My question comes when I've watched your video looking to learn and take ideas to improve my setup if possible, and I see you turn your monitoring to IN so you don't lose sustain pedal and note off messages, which I have found a smart idea and tried myself in my set, but as soon as I turn it to IN all my clips on that track become disabled (they turn gray and don't play when scene is launched), so all my program change for each vst won't run. I'm reviewing your video and you don't have this problem, maybe because envelopes on chain selector work in a different way than program change? I don't think that's it but I don't know... Thanks for the great video mate, sick setup you have there
I'm sure you could! I know the Nord sounds are crazy solid, so it might be worth a shot! Routing a software piano with a hardware piano sound might be a little bit of a workaround, but do what inspires you!
Hey man! I have a velocity curve for when I play with a Nord Stage 2 at church. Usually, I turn it off for my controller at home. In this video, I might have kept it engaged on accident 😅 Hope this helps explain it!

Hey Mike, Thanks for the video. I emailed you earlier...I am keen to check out your template. Thanks!!
Just replied to you, my man!
Hi, does this reduce cpu usage?
cutest youtuber in the game!!!
Very nice setup, but quick question...
Is the nanoKontroller enough to trigger all the scenes and sounds you want to?
Wow that piano sound

Власне про FX синтез дуже хотілося б дізнатися більше!
Cool! Thankyou
Is it a good idea to layer a Nord instead of keyscape with the spitfire audio piano softer piano?

Good video
I may be the only one that doesnt fully understand this, is this only for live events?
yes
hey man! would love to check out your template if its available. Fuego tone
Thank you
Hello! I have seen your settings on velocity drive -0.24. Are you using semi wighted keys or it is just your preference style of playing?
