Yes it's all them. The audio was touched up a bit for the studio but they pull this off live all the time, and barely sound any different! Some other amazing songs by them are Bohemian Rhapsody, Imagine, Can You Feel the Love Tonight, Hallelujah, Say Something, Mary Did You Know, and anything else you want to check out!
Great reaction and welcome to PTX. You will love them, I assure you. Their covers of “Hallelujah” and “Imagine” would be great to look at next. Subbed.
Love new Pentatonix reactors! So much fun to watch someone discovering their talent.... In addition to the other suggestions, I'd add some of their original music: Love Again, Happy Now, Can't Sleep Love. I can't even pick a favorite from those!
PTX is an insanely talented a capella group that has been together since 2011 when they won Season 3 of the Sing Off. They had one member change in 2017. Bass Avi Kaplan left and Matt Sallee joined (he's the 3rd singer in the white jacket). Please react to their Daft Punk Medley. It won them their first Grammy. Also please react to their cover of Bohemian Rhapsody.
Fun reaction 👍 if you want watch their most popular videos then Hallelujah, Bohemian Rhapsody and their first Grammy winner, Daft Punk are good choices. Enjoy!
Great reaction! I'm here for more Pentatonix reactions... so many songs to choose no need to recommend just pick one and go!... welcome to the madness!
Welcome to Pentatonix! They never disappoint singing covers or originals! Pssst...a new one is dropping TODAY! 10-14-20 We Pentaholics are in a frenzy! Each member has such a wide vocal range they can sing amazing arrangements. They are 3x Grammy winners (Daft Punk Medley being their first) and hold concerts all over the world. My current obsession is their cover/ mashup of New Rules/ Are You that Somebody! No instruments unless you can see them! Great reaction!
We need more PTX! Try hallelujah! And it’s all their voices! Singing and beatboxing! They’re grey live. If you want you could do their live version of hallelujah. It’s amazing!
Maybe check out their cover of Hallelujah. It's very popular with over 560 million views. They do an excellent TV xmas special live version too easily found on you tube.
If they ever have instruments then they are blatantly featured, like in their cover of Radioactive with amazing violinist Lindsey Sterling. Kevin, black guy on the right, can somehow beatbox and play the chelo at the same time, which is how they found him for the group. I'm pretty sure he also speaks another language or two and was attending medical school before leaving to join the group but don't quote me on that. Every member of this group is just crazy talented.
I’m new to the channel and I love to see people react to Pentatonix for the first time. They are AMAZING. Strictly voices. Love em. React to Amazing Grace and Hallelujah next!
I highly recommend that you go check out their cover Hallelujah. If you think they blew you away with this song, Hallelujah will have you falling out of your chair. It is by far my favorite song from PTX. They are so talented. I’ve also seen them live, and they sound just as good live. They will not record anything that they can’t do live.
Great reaction bro please do more Pentatonix! It was absolutely all them and no instruments, they do it live! Try the Evolution of Michael Jackson to see them in a good live setting doing the whole song in one take ☝️
Great Reaction, welcome to this particular rabbit hole, I hope you will wander deeper :) Check out their versions of "Halleluhja" and "Imagine"! Just so you do not wonder, these are with their former bass singer Avi Kaplan.
You think this is something, you should check out their versions of "Hallelujah", "Mary Did You Know" and... a personal favorite, "The Wizard of Ahhhs"
Welcome to the PTX rabbithole! New Rules x Are you that Somebody is amazing. Havana, Can You Feel the Love Tonight, Bohemian Rhapsody, Amazing Grace, Hallelujah. It's all them though. They don't do anything they can't do live.
I was alive when Simon and Garfunkel first brought this song out after the cold war, and I think... No, I know that he would love this version too, especially for a newer generation when the same fear of nuclear bombs exploding has just re-arisen. Let our world stay safe and take heed of this song. Pentatonix is a three time Grammy Award accapella singing group, and by the chills we all get when we hear them bring forth a new powerful masterpiece, the chills and goosebumps are well warranted. Kevin was the beatboxer and he did all the beats and stomps and claps. Check out their Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen and Imagine by John Lennon.
great reaction !!! nice to see some genuine emotion from a reactor , can't wait to see you react to their cover of Bohemian Rhapsody , trust me it will blow you away
Oh, you've got to watch their official video Bohemian Rhapsody. Remember they don't use instruments but the one that is used is for props as they don't use anything when they are in concert. They don't record anything that they can't perform live. Listen to Allelujah both, official and live. :)
I love them all. This is the first group where I can’t even pick a favorite because they are ALL outstanding, amazing, fantastic, you get my point lol. If I had to pick...although I love love Mitch and Kristen too, I just can’t pick bec Scott is amazing, Kevin too and the new guy too
I appreciate all 3 versions! They are different styles. Simon and Garfunkles version was a warning. Disturbs was an angrier version at the hopelessness of the situation, and Pentatonix's version was a warning, but hopeful that it's message might be heard. I am glad you enjoyed it. Listen to Bohemian Rapsody. Again, it is all accapella.
This obviously wasn't live, so they made all the sounds just them, and in the video came pretty close to recreating it, but not perfect. And I agree, it's an amazing cover, but not better than Disturbed. If Disturbed didn't exist, it would probably be the best cover of it I'd ever heard!
I love many versions of this song, Disturb's version is very dark and a bit depressing. The original by S&G is so poetic and haunting. PTX's version has a more hopeful, optimistic sound to me.
Yes, it is all acapella. They are truly amazing. Thank you for your reaction Benjo. There is so much I could say about Pentatonix. I suggest you look at Bohemian Rhapsody next. The bass is named Matt; he was preceded by Avi the former bass. The beatboxer is probably the most singularly talented. The small guy, Mitch, has the voice of an angel. Kirsten is the woman and she has a powerful voice. The tall blonde is Scott; his forte is his strength and range, he can sing anything it seems.
The guy all the way to the right is most of the instruments. The guy on the left is the rest of them. If there’s ever a real instrument (guy on the right, Kevin besides beatboxing sometimes plays the cello) you will see it.
Yes, all acapella! Of course, they recorded the audio in a studio, but they made all the musical sounds and beats themselves. Enjoyed your reaction, and this band has won several Grammys.
go watch the live version of hallaluja after watching the official video of it, they sound exactly the same Kevin is the Beat Boxer that does all the percussion sounds (a genius) give a listen and then rethink what you saw the first time...lol
Great reaction, thank you. So much to choice from, Daft Punk won them their first of three Grammys.
oh oh, Pentatonix rabbithole
They won't record anything they cannot reproduce faithfully live. They are just mind-bogglingly talented.
Amazing talent ~~ beautiful voices ~~ unique harmony ==
Pentatonix
Pentatonix! Worth every second of listening! Enjoy the ride. 🤗
These guys are super talented. They do amazing covers and write there own music too.
Amazing reaction 😍 please more pentatonix 🙏🙏💙💙
Miriam D'Amato Absolutely I will. Thank you 🙏🏻❤️
@@BenjoReacts you're welcome 😘

Oh my goodness friend. Welcome to Pandora's box. This song is such a mild representation of what PTX is. Much love and keep on keepin on J.
100% a capella baby!
I freakin loved this reaction ❤🤣🤣🤣🤣
Maybe check out their cover of Hallelujah. It's very popular with over 560 million views. They do an excellent TV xmas special live version too easily found on you tube.
Love your work champ

Lindsey Stirling
Yes if I recall correctly he (Kevin) speaks fluent Mandarin

Moooooore Pentatonix!!

All them :)
They're all talented but Mitch is me favourite! Kevin is a god tier beatboxer! Love from Ireland!
I love them all. This is the first group where I can’t even pick a favorite because they are ALL outstanding, amazing, fantastic, you get my point lol. If I had to pick...although I love love Mitch and Kristen too, I just can’t pick bec Scott is amazing, Kevin too and the new guy too

Mitch, Mitch, Mitch, you smol, sexy bean you...you make my heart melt ❤
Welcome to the PTX ride down the never-ending rabbit hole! Just Subbed. 🤗 No instruments, no special mixing. Listen live. It's amazing!
Yep all them. New sub. Please more ptx please please
This obviously wasn't live, so they made all the sounds just them, and in the video came pretty close to recreating it, but not perfect. And I agree, it's an amazing cover, but not better than Disturbed. If Disturbed didn't exist, it would probably be the best cover of it I'd ever heard!
Please react to their cover of Hallelujah! 😊
Go back and listen to Sounds of Silence by the original artists, Simon & Garfunkle. You will then realize how great PTX really is!
thats who they are, an Acapella group. Kevin is their only music. hes the Beatboxer.
If they use any instruments, they'll be in the video with them.
I love many versions of this song, Disturb's version is very dark and a bit depressing. The original by S&G is so poetic and haunting. PTX's version has a more hopeful, optimistic sound to me.
That is ALL THEM the guy on the far right is doing the sound effects
That's Matt...
No Instruments at all other than their voices and mouth
Better than Disturbed
Sorry, I think Disturbed's version is good, although not a patch on the original, but this is far superior to the Disturbed cover IMO
Definitely better than that disturbed version, this is out of this world and there is no comparison
No instruments used.
Nope, no instruments. If they use an instrument they show it up front. Like in Thank you, Perfect are a couple.
I will have to respectfully disagree…. It is better than disturbs version in my opinion
No instruments whatsoever
Hello everyone hey Ptx fam
Hey Sean 👋🏼
Hey, Sean ?????
Oh God please do more I love when new people discover PTX they will blow your mind
Yes, it is all acapella. They are truly amazing. Thank you for your reaction Benjo. There is so much I could say about Pentatonix. I suggest you look at Bohemian Rhapsody next. Kirstin
Kevin is the beatboxer.
The guy all the way to the right is most of the instruments. The guy on the left is the rest of them. If there’s ever a real instrument (guy on the right, Kevin besides beatboxing sometimes plays the cello) you will see it.
They are fully A cappella group unless Kevin is playing the cello
Yes, all acapella! Of course, they recorded the audio in a studio, but they made all the musical sounds and beats themselves. Enjoyed your reaction, and this band has won several Grammys.
That is all them NO INSTRUMENTS NO REMIX
WELCOME! Can't wait to see more PTX reactions! I LOVE seeing first time reactions, especially if they aren't hallelujah, lol
Great reaction. More Pentatonix please.
That is AMAZING
100% A capella!
Checkout their original video of Hallelujah and the live version played during their Christmas special. Can’t tell the difference. They are amazing.
Yes they are totally a capella!!! No instruments, but guy on right end provides the sound effects himself!!!
Not better than disturbed version 😆. This was 100 times better. There is no competition or comparison. This group is outstanding
go watch the live version of hallaluja after watching the official video of it, they sound exactly the same Kevin is the Beat Boxer that does all the percussion sounds (a genius) give a listen and then rethink what you saw the first time...lol
YES!! ALL THEM!!! ❤ Welcome to Pentatonix
This is all acapella...no instruments required for PTX
It's still all them... they don't record anything they can't sing live!
Disturbed’s version was disgusting dd not enjoy at all!
Yes, It is 💯% Them. No instruments other then the Beat boxer and their voices
Hello fellow pentaholic’s.
That was all them ..they are the instruments.
No instruments at all...
No instruments in this.
