I'm a complete traitor🤣!!! Happy birthday Emily🎉🎉🎉!!! Hope you have an awesome day maybe reading holy sister cause what could be better on your bday lol! Beijooo🥳🥳🥳
I've read the first three books in the Mistborn world for the first time (also partly because of you) and they are by far my most favourite ones. It's just so good, why haven't I read them earlier? I don't know. But I love Brandon Sanderson from now on.
Scythe! It completely hooked me and make me think a lot about mortality and how we - some at least - hope for immortality but how meaningless life can become when death is out of the equation. Loved it a lot.
My favourites, roughly in order: 1. A Clockwork Orange 2. Life Is So Good by George Dawson and Richard Glaubman 3. Death note: Black edition vol 1 4. Of Mice and Men 5. Becky by Darren Galsworthy
Happy Birthday !!!! I'm currently reading Vicious and yes it lives up to the hype, I'll probably pick up vengeful straight after. as someone who is so into the Mandela Effect and collective memory, Recursion sounds right up my alley.
I started reading Sadie fearing I wouldn't like it (I tend to dislike hyped books), but daaang... It was good and so heart-wrenching! And Vengeful was really good, too. Victoria is coming to Argentina soon and I'm going to get one of my books (probably Vicious) signed, so I'm really excited :D
Ahh i love your best books lists always!!! I've only read skyward so far and i absolutely loved it! Your tastes are close to mine so i always enjoy reading your reccomendations! Thank you for all these recs! I hope you have a lovely day!! Happy birthday!!! I hope it's a wonderful one!🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
Happy birthday, Emily! I wish you all the best in life, healthy, beauty, career and of course, books! Thank you for being such an amazing booktuber, reader, and reviewer. Hands down the best booktuber and I look forward to more of your videos and reviews! (I can't believe I've only read one book (Grey Sister) from your list here... Yes I haven't read Skyward dear god what is wrong with me)
@@BookswithEmilyFox I will! Most likely near the release date of Starsight so I can binge them back to back! :) and as always, thank you for loving my recommendations!
I have a student, 8th grade, read Skyward. He is hooked; read the other YA series Steelheart, he and wants me to bring more. Love it! Also, I am on Grey Sister right now; I love this series! I can’t wait to read the new Blake Crouch. I read his books you recommend and love them.
So ready for Recursion to come out!! I’ve read Dark Matter and I am currently on the 2nd book in the Wayward Pines trilogy. Happy to hear this new is good as well!
My fave reads so far this year: 1. Dark Matter by Blake Crouch 2. Pieces of Her by Karin Slaughter 3. The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides 4. Bird Box by Josh Malerman

Happy Birthday! :D I agree 100% with the first 2. Really need to get back to Mark Lawrence's books. I have been on the fence about Schwab's books, so I guess I'll be checking those out now, and I had no idea about Blake Crouch, excited to try out a new author!
I LOVED the Villains series! I read them back to back, they're both 5 stars for me and I think I prefer Vicious but not by much. I know for a fact that whatever I read this year is going to be shadowed by those books. Have you read the Winternight trilogy? Reading it at the moment and it's great, not perfect but really well written! Happy birthday by the way! Hope you have a great day!

My fav book these past few months was Memoirs of a geisha. I LOVED IT SM!!! The writing is incredible, the MC is supposed to be talking to you and it really feels like that. It wasn't heavy with information but I also feel like I have learned a lot about geishas and what it's like being one. The story is actually fiction, but it's all based on real life experiences since the author interviewed a lot of geisha. This doesn't read like a memoir at all. I'm usually a fantasy/sci-fi girl like you, but this was just incredible. It deserves all the hype!!

I'm shooketh, who knew you liked Brandon Sanderson? XD Actually, your love of his books really makes me want to try one, the length of most of them are just pretty intimidating lolol
They're so good! I recommend starting with a standalone! If you love YA then Skyward is perfect, otherwise Elantris or Warbreaker were both amazing Adult Fantasy!
@@BookswithEmilyFox I tend to read a lot of YA usually, and your review of Skyward made it sound super interesting, so I think that'll be my best bet ^^
My top 2 books so far this year are Not That Bad and Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness. They were both absolutely incredible. Not That Bad is definitely number one, and a new all time favorite, because it helped me cope with my own trauma. It enabled me to finally let myself admit that it was in fact that bad.

I'm reading a series by Megan whalen turner (first book the thief) and it's so good. Especially book 2 and 3!
I keep hearing about red sister and I'm intrigued, but I also heard it's kind of violent and brutal, so I don't know if it's for me.
Lastly I picked up murderbot because of your recommendation and now I've finished it and I loved it! Thank you.
I can’t wait for Recursion!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! 💕
Happy Birthday!!!!
Girl you need to get to Crooked Kingdom! Also, belated happy birthday!
Just finished it!
@@BookswithEmilyFox Awesome
My top 2 books so far this year are Not That Bad and Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness. They were both absolutely incredible.
Not That Bad is definitely number one, and a new all time favorite, because it helped me cope with my own trauma. It enabled me to finally let myself admit that it was in fact that bad.
Oh that book broke me! Totally worth the read tho!
