What I would do to get a localization of this game. I played it in Japanese often back then and recently replayed it with the fan translation. Best game in the series by far.

What you're looking for are the Rise (ライズ) and Exceed (エクシード) traits on your Swordian Device (the sphere talent tree you can access by clicking your weapon) that increase minimum and maximum CC respectively

There is this jump that Leon does at 2:48 and other sections of the video. Is this a skill unique to Leon or can anyone do it.

It's aiming step. If an enemy is in the air and you dash forward the character will re-position themselves next to the enemy.
Really wish I could own this physically. Super interested in playing it again but I don't have a pc ATM.
