Oh, please... (this is not about this particular video clip) Why are you put limits on certain contents to some countries? I just wish to watch all of your wonderful videos! So, please!!!
Allison can't hold a candle to Cathy Rigby's Pan. If you get a chance, watch it. You fully believe she's a teenage boy. Allison is ok, but doesn't have the energy or acting chops...it feels stiff and disingenuous.
I have memories of watching a VHS recording of a Peter Pan play whenever I caught a cold as a kid. (That and "The Red Balloon" were usually my sick day movies for some reason lol). It was probably the Cathy Rigby version but I'm not completely sure - I just remember really believing she was flying ☺
Not only is he traditionally played by a girl, it's because girls have a younger-seeming voice and appearance. You need an adult because it's such a large role, but a man wouldn't seem perpetually youthful/immature.
Because it's an English story, Peter Pan is always a girl in the live performances. Welcome to the world of British pantomimes where playing with gender roles is old news and no one cares and Widow Twankey and all the Pantomime Dames will blow your tiny little mind.
I love this musical so much! And Allison Williams is amazing in this role! The DVD was a Christmas gift to myself last year!
Alison Williams is the best Peter Pan.
We can appreciate her while acknowledging the goat
My two favorite songs from this version are the interchange between Hook and Pan, "Good day to you Hook," and "Shadow."
Anyone oddly attracted to Allison Williams as Pan?
Great musical ! ❤
Mary Martin. The best Peter Pan.
Crazy to think this is the same girl eating dry cereal in Get Out

@@bookshelf829 I LOVE THE RED BALLOON!!!!
She’s no Mary Martin but she’s better than the 2000 cast costumes are better here
You know the guys dreesed as a mermaid nothing wrong with that but cant a girl play her too?
Peter pan is a boy not a girl
ummm....why is Peter a girl?
traditionally Peter has been played by a girl in theater.
