This is more effective for anxiety and deep depression than most other things I have tried, In awe of you, your talent, your imagination, and your capacity to transport us all to distant lands in distant times. Someone needs to do an ancient Athens ambience thing and somewhere, like at the 45 minute mark and hear some footsteps running with some clucks and an old, dirty man shouting "BEHOLD, A MAN!" And footsteps of him walking back out with young men chuckling and a grumbling sigh of exasperation from the teacher, lol
You suggest just how bright it must be outside, by depicting a whiteish haze through the skylights. With skillful depictions of light and shadow you render the nubby texture of walls and brick surfaces. Girl, you just knock my socks off! 😎
I wrote a scene about this particular painting in my romance book (they visit the Vatican Musuems) and then I saw THIS on yt. It's my writing ambience now, thank you so much! :)
this is a kind of place where i,m felt truly home where i can conduct as a librarian a everlasting thirst for more knowledge be satisfyed in a wonderfull ancient school of athens!this is heaven for me!
Despite the remarkable work of modeling, and despite the title "school of Athens", the architecture is Roman and not Greek. The semi-circular vault, The Corinthian capitals and Ionic volutes of the columns show this very well. Very nice work, thank you for this video.
This is very faithful to the fresco by Rafael, yet it's not an exact copy. Great originality here. Note to self: when The Think Institute gets a physical location, use this for inspiration :)
