Lembikisa and Anderson can’t be called rejects as they committed as kids without even waiting for England and without evening being full on professionals. Lembikisa make appearances for Wolves first team as a 18 year old and could easily wait and see but he decided to commit.

Dexter Lembikisa and Anderson committed to playing for Jamaica at 18 years old…there’s no way they can be classified as rejects when they decided to commit long before even being full on professionals. Ethan Pinnock committed as one of the best CB in the championship and since he’s been in the EPL many people without knowing he plays for Jamaica asked for England to call him up. Man is one of the best Cb in the EPL and he didn’t hold out for a England call up. Unnu can’t call the man them nuh reject.

This doesn’t include everybody but players like Antonio for example is only here because his chances to play for England diminished. Kyle meant no hate. I think we need to stop calling the players rejects but if we are to be honest the players that we go far are players that really England don't need. But then again why would a Enlish player that can make the England squad choose Jamaica over their country of birth.

Well, from all these comments I can tell that the majority of Jamaicans has no sense of nation building. They also has no understanding of jamaicas football history. Jamaica last qualify for the world cup in 1998 with mostly local base players and a tiny few of English players. Back then we knew our players and supported them because they grew up with us . Their dreams was ours and ours theirs. Since then we reverse the thing think that it was the English players that did it for us and are willing to take and even hunt every England reject. They better ones only playing for us when they realize that all hopes of playing for England is gone.
So for the hopes of short term glory the future of youths playing manning and decasta cup is dash along with the men in the jpl. As they know they are second thought after the England rejects. Leave local footballers to suffer. The English base players situation has never worked for us . This is not club football . This is about developing local football and local talent giving our home grown youths a chance the best chances.

For me, when he used the air quotes, he was basically repeating the terninilogy that most younger jamaicans used when referring to these English born players. He does not necessarily agree, but that is the terminology being used.

The stupidity of engaging this family about football defeats me. Only 23 people can represent the ENGLISH team at any given time. Is there anything such as a Jamaican reject.
