Went out Wednesday night and end up killing the fluke on this fly but instead of the purple I used a little mackerel sf. I went out for stripe bass didn’t expect that. And these hold up very well
Great fly! I was wondering if you could let me know what model is your UV light. I am in the marketing for a better one to replace my small Loon UV light.
These are small Menhaden, also known as bunker or pogies. On Long Island we call them peanut bunker. When they grow to full size, their abundance attracts all kinds of gamefish, whales and sharks near our beaches.
Took a look and i think I actually used the UV Rainbow on this video, I grabbed the first brownish color I saw. I have tied this pattern with the mullet brown and shrimp, but any darker blend will do I feel. Tight lines.
Great pattern
Thanks buddy, hope it works for you!

Sure, my flashlight is called: ULTRAFIRE Black Light UV Flashlight. If you search by name, lots of vendors will come up. Tight lines!
