This is my car. Yea stock plugs. Will be switching to ngk. Have ran it twice at roll race events since then, it kept up with zl1 1le better then expected. Thanks for the tune.
pretty sure spark plugs dont cause engine knock
Hey buddy was this on 93 oct? Nice car looking to get one of these
@@anealsrikant9254 yea on 93, do it great car on track.
I enjoyed seeing some simple bolt on car numbers. More realistic ideas for the average persons budget
love hearing how you were talking about the tuning differences between LS/LT, didnt realize that big of a difference?.... Fran keep it coming brother, love the knowledge, im 40 so i appreciate the knowledge,i know you guys are my age more or less so i enjoy the humor, and shared wisdom..im a huge fan of you guys . ive been an LS guy from the get go back in 97-98 high school days, big LS shit back then, mad street racing, i appreciate all you guys at RPM, doing GODS work. putting horsepower in the hands of the musclecar guys...
good shit
Fran dropping bits and pieces of knowledge without giving too much, spot on on everything, obviously as he should be as a seasoned veteran.
Was nodding and knowing exactly what he’s talking about with the hints lol. 😄👍👍
Fran is smart as hell knows his stuff.
Fran : "if this takes more than 2 pulls I suck" LMFAO!
Fran your looking great man! Side note you seem happier- more up beat in the newer videos! Love your shop looking forward to working with you guys w a future build! Keep up the great work!
I drive a Mercedes AMG and I love watching your videos. Yal is like one big, dysfunctional family that is really good at what they do...
Which model do you drive, if you don't mind me asking?
@@danieljadorie829 a C32
@CM-tc6pp That's the supercharged V6 one right?
@@danieljadorie829 Yeah!
@@CM-tc6pp Nice man, I like that era of AMGs.
Fran, the remote tune you did for my LS is still rocking my man. Looking good, keep up the good work.
Awesome job again, cool to see how much difference a tune makes on such a basic bolt on car.
great videos , we need more people to discover this channel , great episodes .
I lost my UA-cam channel 2 days ago so now I’m here love the videos!!
Very cool. Im almost done installing a TT Hellion kit and my boss said that he is going to try to get you to remote tune it since he has not had alot of experience with direct injection. Pretty exciting to have you tune something 🎉
Awesome But it would be nice to know what rpm the peak numbers occurred. Just a thought
I'm subbed and have been a Mustang guy, I just like the info on these platforms.
You either like cars or you don't right? I'm a gm guy and own a camaro but, I watch mustang, challenger content all the time!
@@Tusuperbis same
I had a 50th anniv FIFTY that pulled 397hp before and closer to 480 after tune, TSP headers, x pipe, rotofab. I miss that car daily since i traded in.
This is sick, was this on pump 93oct?
nice video...a little de sense on those knock sensors will clean up the pull at the end..im guessing that's how you got it to smooth out.
That was interesting and informative.
Thank you 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the vid! What did u play with to get rid of the knock?
As a former TD Bank employee.. I LOL'd 😂
waitin for someone to say it took more than 2 tries lol good work though as always! cant wait to see you back in the track with the new baby
Are you desensitized the knock sensors
Best tuner of all time 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Do you have a v6 package for Camaro?
Yes. Any alterations you should re-tune.
Fuel, Air, Timing.
Changes the world
Beautiful Camaro.
Great gains from just a tune on that LT. What type of gains do you see on the bolt-on manual LS3s?
Got my ‘14 LS3 done by RPM. Basic bolt-ons. Baseline was 444/428 and after was 464/462, although this is higher than other ls3’s on similar setups I have seen.
They usually make 420-430rwhp with the basic bolt ons on 93
Nice work Fran!! I got a vector blue cts-v as well in Vegas.. That color is mesmerizing!! 💯💯🫡
What would be the next step in gaining more power? Cam intake headers ,ported heads? Or small pro charger?
Msd intake manifold, e85 and an intake but that would cost about 4k if you install the parts your self for only 20 to 25hp gain
Either cam, heads, intake manifold, and throttle body
Or
Slap pro/super charger on it
Next time I Uber someone to Delaware I hope I can stop by your shop
Love all ur videos. I'm a hp freak I own a 2019 ram2500 6.4 it's tuned and some bolt ons. Waiting for ARH Headers lmfao...
I have a 2022 ram with the 6.4, motor has some power for a work truck lol.
@sapperROSS there nice but way better with a tune. Got the HPtuners computer and everything I love it
I'm guessing this has been addressed at some point, but does the HP tuner release have you guys eyeing more C8 work?
We need to ship out to you guys. my friend got 470 full bolt e85..😳 you made that with just intake..and headers..
A Max Effort LT tune with FBO and good E content should be 485+W, but that said, every car is a little bit different and dynos vary….BUT LT tunes are ALL OVER the place. Except when you go to someone with a solid track record on LTs
Love the videos. I'm debating between a C6 GS or a 6th Gen Camero SS, automatic in both. Which you recommend?
6l80? Yuck! 🤮 I would completely disregard the auto C6.. if you want an auto, the C7/6th gen Maro's are the way.
I’m biased but I’ll say look at the V2 CTS V coupe, other than being a little heavy and ugly to some, you get a 6l90 and LSA for the same price as a 6th gen. If I went C6 it would have to be a z06 imo
Camaro, transmission alone is the deciding factor. A10 Camaro is a very potent car even with mild boltons.
@@169abr 10L80 isn't quite as good as the ZL1's 10L90
@@DodgeOwnersBeLike yea but he wants an SS.
What plug do you recommend for the ss1le? Simple elite carbon intake and corsa valved exhaust.
Spark
RPM Motorsport Rocks 💯🇺🇸🔥🍀🔥💯
Who’s RPM Motorsports?
@@RaceProvenMotorsports🤣🤣🤣🤦🏻♂️
Thier is a shop in NC called rpm motorsport...wonder how many people confuse the two shops....you rock fran....keep the content coming
Fran, can you please add lambda to your list of information on your Dyno pulls, i can't use the air fuel because it's different for e85 and anything besides 93 octane. I'm trying to follow your tuning process and lambda would be perfect because i could use that to tune my power enrichment tables and use the right eq ratio.
No it’s not. E85 target is the same as 93 target
@@RaceProvenMotorsportswhat I meant is that the air fuel is different between non ethanol gas and e10 gas, e40, E60, e85 etc... So when you show the air fuel it's not exact. It's hard to try and follow, Lambda would be so much easier to look at and follow.
🤦♂️
Pretty much what he is saying is no kid 🤷🏽♂️
Best shop in the world 🌎
may have already been asked... are you guys going to start working on the C8 platform now that it has been opened up for tuning?
Yes we will
About how much is a dyno tune? I don’t see it on your website
Hyper Blue..nice 1LE
Are you guys going to get with HP tuners for the C8 and CT5?
Yes
👍
Can I get this on a 30 year fixed loan?
Cool
I need a tune plzzz
Ed fro California
Color is hyper blue metallic. Just like my car.
Hit that thumbs 👍🏾 button
Do you guys tune Cadillac ATS-V’s ?
Look up Schmidty tuning.
He's tuned them in the past.
If I can’t do this in two pulls then I suck lol 😂
I thought the same thing. I knew if I came to the comments there would be something.
What happens if you dyno a car that you built and blows up the engine do you have to pay for it? What happens if you dyno somebody's car and it blows up on the dyno what happens after that? And by the way y'all do good work.
Bruh... i know yall are at a bit lower elevation than me but my car only put down 450 whp and 455 tq with 2inch catless tsp headers, rotofab, and flex fuel. Yall put down more than i did without E??
3:20 I have liked commented and subscribed for years now. Want to have a look at the tune on my ECS boosted C7 base model?
Without watching this video and just seeing its title, I'd say it depends - if the bolt ons changes up airflow AND the ECU doesn't run on close loop fueling (whether steady state or WOT), then YES, a tune is needed.
Air is the independent variable - fuel follows air/matches airflow - then spark is advanced (or retarded) in order to find mechanical efficiency (much like pedaling a bicycle).
The answer is yes... ok internet. The answer is yes.
Btw its a 18ss LT1. Yeah he doesn't feel very comfortable wth direct injection
Shouldn’t car get dyno before bolt-ons to get true gain numbers? Bolt-ons and stock map doesn’t that mean AFR could be off and car will have less power than in completely stock form?
The car was brought to us with the mods done.
I get that, it would be nice to see before and after with stock map to see if car can correct AFR or it’s actually losing power? Btw I love your guys channel!
America!!! 🇺🇸 Fuck Ya!!!
Damn! I thought I had low miles at 13k on my 17….

Love the channel
I’m subscribed, but I own a F-Body lol
Should have replaced the plugs then put ur tune in
@lennyperson6441 yeah tuning around junk parts just makes no sense to me...
Maybe you are slipping a bit as you age. I know I have. I haven’t forgotten anything but I’m slower at getting it done.
Oh well that’s why I charge $275.00 dollars an hour. Busy too!! 😮
I liked it, I'm commenting, and I have been subscribed for a while 😁👍
Lol, how's that for leaving a comment. 😉
comment! lol Just for you Fran :)
Remote Tunes!? 🤭
What model between 2010-2015 Camaro SS is the best for everything.
A full list of bolt-ons that yield the highest HP would be nice.
Aren't all 5th Gen's the same? Or are you talking ZL1/Z28/SS not just the SS models?
@@169abr I'd assume all 5th gens ss are the same, but the people that know the vehicles know the intimate details better than the average person.
@@ktotheswiss1617 14-15 2SS 1LE will be your best bang for buck gen 5, that's just my opinion though. I had a 15 before I got my 18 1LE ✌
