Gutrej, I want to thank you for showing the cab part. Since that Petrucci cab is already a mix I usually don't add mics to it, but I've tried out your set up and my presets have become even more alive!
Thanks! Yeah that stock cab is pretty dark, adding mics makes it a little usable in my opinion, although you are right, it probably does not need to be mic'ed.
Thank you for what you do. Great tones as usual. Safe travels and Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄
Thank you man. Holiday greetings to you and family!
Thank you for the blocks, much appreciated.
Very welcome! Glad you like them :)
Thank you bro
You are welcome my friend. Cheers!
Good video. (By the way, I think your voice over mic is sitting on your table and everytime you reach for the mouse on your table, the mic shakes and goes boom. You could edit those sounds out in post, or suspend the mic on a separate arm to avoid those noises.)
Thank you! Yeah I've noticed that mic issue happening of late too. I am not sure how I can remove it in the post as I've tried. Maybe move it to a different position outside the table looks like! Thanks for the feedback always.
Gurtej, mate... thanks for sharing e converting it in AxeFX2... well done... merry Christmas...
Thanks mate! Glad to hear from you. Hope you are well.
Do you use FracTool to view axe 3 presets?
One delay i wish we had is the Aurora multidelay.....Andy Timmons.
I actually haven't tried to convert many presets backwards from 3 to 2, because I'm guessing half of it won't really work, but it's a good idea to see details of the presets sometimes to get an idea of what is going on. The aurora delay looks cool, not sure if entirely can be reproduced in the axe FX 2, I can surely try! Cheers man.
Hi, thanks for all the tips and great sounds. I don´t understand how to get the delay bocks to the block library. I´ve been watching the video "Three Axe Edit Tips for a BETTER workflow!" but don´t get it. Help! :)
Thanks a lot, you can find how to use Blocks library here: ua-cam.com/video/OtMl-VRnDi4/v-deo.html
great video, thank youuuuu
Cheers! Appreciate it 😌
Great video
Cheers brother! Thank you.
hello sir, i am using ax8 and only using single xlr cable connected to the interface. is that the reason why i amnot getting the stereo left and right ping pong like effect. i am just getting unidirectional delay or mono type. i dont have this problem when i am using neural dsp plugins
Yes, you would need to use a stereo setup to be able to get stereo effects and tones out of the unit. Have a looked into the balanced outputs from the unit and you can easily get two cables to support a studio setup. I do the same. Hope this helps buddy. Cheers.
Whats up i am confused with how to go about installing the delay blocks
You can install the delay blocks using the help of this video here, I've explained the process: ua-cam.com/video/OtMl-VRnDi4/v-deo.html
helle , please it s not for MAC ??? thanks for the answer s
Axe Edit is available for Mac too, but you will still need an actual Axe FX 2 hardware unit for this.
Also how do i get this preset ?
I recreated your go to preset and it sounds great just haven’t gotten the delays uploaded into my axe fx yet and still need to setup the expression pedal on that but man it sounds great as is so far . Thanks so much for the help
Thanks a lot! You can install the delay blocks with the help of this video here: ua-cam.com/video/OtMl-VRnDi4/v-deo.html
why the videos is 360 p???
Maybe it's still processing. Not sure. I'll check after some time
merry chris mate. see you next year. best for you and your family. cheers
Thank you brother! Same to you. Have a great break.
@@GurtejSinghGuitar after a period of time i decided to download and use the petrucci delay block. the question is how can i upload it to block library in xe fx 2
The blocks library is nothing but a folder on the computer and can be accessed via the axe edit software. Just put the files there and restart axe edit.
I do believe I have a video on blocks, check the axe edit type and tricks part 2 video on the channel. Hope this helps!
