It's finally here 🙏 the final chapter of my album, Two Sides of the Same Coin
This is the most personal project I’ve ever made. I’ve felt these two sides starting to pull me in different directions over the past few years. The side that loves creating art, who started writing songs when he was 5 because he thought it was fun. But also the side that wanted something bigger. To have people sing the words to his songs at venues around the world. I know I take both to their extremes in this series, but neither one is inherently good or bad. And it was important to me to show both of their points of view in this final song. I hope you can take something from it, but if not, that’s ok too. I made this album for me, and that’s the first time I can honestly say that. I appreciate everyone who's followed along on this journey over the last 5 months. I don't know what I'm gonna make next but I know that I’m more inspired than ever, and that’s a really cool feeling. Thanks for listening

I am currently working on an AMV of this song for Momocon's "AMVs On Stage" 2024, and let me just tell you: I have been moved by this music video more times than I can count. I think about it as I'm looking for scenes from the anime to place on my timeline. I think about it as I listen to the song on repeat in my car (-instead- of thinking about what scenes to put down). I think about it when I'm trying to get to sleep and the song slips into my subconscious.
This is such an amazing retrospection on where you have come from and where you are going, and I just want to thank you for putting it out there for us to see. I hope you gained some peace or catharsis from working through these feelings you had. And I pray that I can do it some semblance of justice when I'm done with this Anime Music Video. Know that I can see just how much this song means to you and have not taken my job lightly.

this was so good! I still cant wrap my head around how you did so many moving shots with two of you in it in this album, but it looks really cool. The ending to this could not have been better imo, and i loved seeing influencer ben’s pov after the other 4 songs mostly follows artist ben.

Ahhhh, chess! The perfect game to symbolize trying to outsmart, beat, and trap your opponent. It is such a complex game because even playing someone of equal skill can result in a win or a loss. So it makes sense to have a winner, even though the opponent is coming from the same mind.
