The way he said “rice” in Arabic sounded so similar to how we say rice in Spanish I went down a history rabbit hole and because the Muslims ruled over Spain for 700 years. The Muslims was the big reason Latin America has some of the food it has. There are a lot of grains fruits and more that came from the Muslims that was brought to us in Mexico. I didn’t know we had a connection like that. Much love

Formal? It is very hard to learn that, even as an arab you need to be an arabic language specialist to fully understand it, most of us dont even know the meanings of half the formal arabic words lol
