On the off chance you're into something a little bit... larger in scale 🙂, there is an ArtNet library available for the Pi Pico W. This makes these panels compatible with wireless DMX and xLights.
Why is there such a border? I don't understand why a designer wouldn't omit the border, how are you supposed to chain them with such a gap? Looking at some of the shots the pcb traces and buttons go right to the edge as well, so you kinda can't get around that?
We like the artsy triptych look personally, but you might want to look at Interstate 75 W and some HUB75 panels if seamless chaining is the goal? shop.pimoroni.com/products/interstate-75-w
@@pimoroni No goal, already made an array with Twinkly lights. Hub75 Panels do certainly look more useful in general though. Seems kinda like wasted opportunity to have a triptych look, maybe your sales data says otherwise ;)

How about a smaller and cheaper 16x16 "Stellar Unicorn", including all of the features of the galactic and cosmic unicorn, just smaller.
