This video is magic. You have earned a subscriber! Can I please know which month and what dates you went? Also, could I please know whereabouts you stopped your car for the scenery in 1:14-15, 1:23 and 1:35 (seems like the same place) and also the bridge and waterfalls at 2:53. Thank you!
Thanks Aman, we visited in the month of March, so yeah all those time stamps were the same location, google this to find it ‘6G2M+X7 Kamoenai, Hokkaido Japan’ and the bridge and waterfall was at ‘shirahige waterfall’ Enjoy your visit if your heading there 👍🏻
OMG, you really climbed Showa Shinzan XD ?! I don't think there is even a hiking trail there! But the movie is stunning! Thank you for showing the beauty of Hokkaido to the world :)
SIck video man. I just subbed. Im going to Hokkaido next month and planning it out. Did you go to an onsen (think I saw it @3:03)? And is it NOT possible to hike Showa Shinzen? didnt know you can hike but assuming the japanese response team will go crazy?
Thanks Steven, No we didn’t go to Onsen, that part of the video was around Asahikawa, near the blue lake. And correct, it’s forbidden to hike The Showa Shinzen, Just next to it there is another mountain that you can climb tho. Enjoy Hokkaido
Saw your comment on Beautiful Destinations' video! Gonna subscribe :) What did you film this on? Keep up the filmmaking :) great transition from the drawing to the mountain
wow, so nice your shooting ! How is your road trip in Hokkaido? I planning road trip during 1-8April 2018, what is your advise ?safe to drive ? we are about 7,8 family members, might rent MPV , is it safe to drive during this time? can share your itinerary ? I really wanted to go your places, so nice !
Hi Holli, thanks. Here's all the gear that was used. Canon 80D, with 18-135 kit lens, rode video mic, GoPro hero 5, iPhone 6s, Samsung s8, Dji mavic pro. Nothing fancy but it does the job. If you can't afford a big camera just try making videos with your phone and the results can be amazing, just look on UA-cam for videos that were entirely shot on an iPhone 👍🏻
This was dope Jackson! Really liked that drawing transition at the beginning. Sick drone shots too. Always wanted to visit Hokkaido and just Japan in general myself, and this makes me want to go even more haha. Keep up the good work man, I subscribed! By the way, I recently dropped a travel film about chasing your dream, if you're interested stop by my channel. Cheers! :-)
Thanks man 👍, I thought I would try that drawing transition after seeing Sam Kolders one in my year 2016. Took some time key framing but it was worth it. Yeah add Hokkaido to you list for sure! Yeah ill check it out 👍
