Send us all a reply of yours with a CV and at least 3 Radar cruisers which I encounter 90% of the time on servers I play and then I will follow the sheep and say you overcame all the obstacles of normal gameplay and matchmaking to achieve a record - I always give a thumbs up on these occasions as the challenge has been accepted and overcome - nice damage but it had no impact on the result

If you don't have something nice to say rather not say anything. The guy played a good game. He has a wr score. Recon he could have done 1 or 2 things different if I was in his shoes. But that is the beauty of hindsight. Everyone will have an opinion still does not take away that he played and incredible game with a potato team.

Elbing pulls up beside Plymouth, and I'm sitting here like, "your actually trying to tell me this is a destroyer?"
Nice match, still stupid WG made this into a DD instead of CL. It can be incredibly bad for your team when you're low on DD count, say a 22 dd game without CV and the elbing is essentially a CL so can't really spot. That means it's 1 spotter vs 2 which is gonna be very hard. I'd rather have them buff this ship slightly and turn it into a CL that takes citadels instead of taking up a dd slot in your team.

-How about... We take a de moine. Increase its shell speed, give it torps and smoke and slap a smoke generator on top of that.

Hätte die shimakaze nicht im widespread geworfen wäre er weg gewesen.
Hätte die Venezia SAP statt AP geschossen wäre die elbing auch weg gewesen.
Dazu die BBs welche stur ihren Kurs hielten und scheinbar nicht einmal versuchten den treibminen auszuweichen.
Dennoch gut gespielt, aber da war mehr Glück mit den Gegnern als alles anderen Faktoren tragend.

Well played Heavy Cruiser Elbing :) I mean WTF were they thinking when they came up with thing :) 5k plus per salvo on an Angled Hindy :) Working as intended lol. It was well played but I can't help but think of those BB players who hang at the back and snipe, get big damage and then say they did their part without ever tanking and blame the team. He did play to its strengths though and it was fun to watch.

Typical WOW. What a joke. cits, and off angle 2-6k damage per salvo from a DD onto BB.s. Yea right. Actual X cruisers have a hard time doing that. So ridiculous. And he set a very small screen in the beginning and no one shot or torped the screen. With a Shimi right there..... B.S. This is why the game is no fun anymore.
What on earth are you on about, the elbing is a great example of how a ship should be, not the other shit they pumped out past year or 2. It's AP, meaning you can angle against it, he always tried to shoot broadside and weakspots and the elbing is by far the largest dd you can shoot it with AP and do a crap ton of damage. It's not like he's spamming HE getting a 20 fire game, you can actually counterplay against an elbing.
@@taserrr UMM,.. NO. You didn't read it. A DD is shooting AP at BB's. and getting 2-6k damage with each salvo. i mean come on. My Alaska, Big D, Hind can barely do that. Plus Cits. STFU... Just rediculous.
@@sydneyphillips7082 but the guns are the entire reason to play the elbing. You give up a lot for that. Biggest sized DD by far, HE alpha is one of the lowest, slow reload, massive turning circle that's almost as big as some BBs at TX, pretty bad rudder shift time, terrible AA.
All of this combined with no hydro means it's incredibly easy to get torped in the elbing when you're in smoke farming.
I think this should've been a CL not a DD but I wouldn't call it OP, it's a strong ship with some massive downsides attached to it that excells at punishing broadside ships.

most of my best games have been when i've lost, the reason being is that you need two equally potato teams. You basicaly need both teams to throw, so the game lasts a long time.

Lets be real, Throughout the entire battle, specially about the conqueror, The dude was just going after easy damage instead of killing the imminent threats to his teammates. Dude is shooting at a Vermont when Conqueror is rushing, and fucking up his team. That conqueror doesnt get as close, he may not spot the other Plymouth is probably going to survive there. So some of his damage was just fluff.

ModStation or Aslains mods both have that bar available.

Originally the ships in elbing line are constructed as recon cruisers but wows categorize them as dd xD
They are light cruisers technically, altho categorizing them as a DD making them very strong because you can't citadel them. Still a great ship design I must say, at least it's not another HE spammer.
@@taserrr half the time you see them in a match they either explode right away or carry, there's no inbetween
@@HandOfTyrr Yeah true, that's because it's a new ship tho and it's the most unique dd in the game. It doesn't even play like a dd, many players don't know they can just fire AP at it's broadside and deal 5-10k easily.

Yes but no. Here we talk about damage record of one guy. You can't put responsability of losing the game on him if all of his allied go suicide. One man can not carry the whole team, not in a ship like that.
How is a record for damage meaningless just cause his team lost? Doesn't negate the fact that he did do the highest damage... comments sometimes make very little sense.
