As a trail truck, it looks like a bunch of fun. Sometimes, it is nice to drive something that is not the most capable as it adds challenges you might not normally experience. It really is fun to watch bouncing around!
@@rcpie yeah, it looked like it could bump-steer itself into another dimension! I am looking forward to checking out the upgrades. I just found your channel and I am getting caught up.
@@canuckchuck8836 That's nice to hear. Thanks. Another MN999 upgrade video is due but I've got lots in my list of 'to dos', so not sure when I'll get round to it. There's a couple of nice running videos, though.
Hi rc pie I just bought some 11.1v 2200mah 3s lipo battery and the esc handles completely fine and a lot more power! Really recommend you to get some the battery length is 10cm with a bit of tight squeeze it will fit! 😊😊😊
I should have another video out in the next day or so. I've been shooting a bit of footage, so it's just the editing game. The battery is ok but could be much better. I'm not sure how I'd fit a full-sized 2s or 3s lipo or whether the stock electronics would cope (maybe with 2s). It's one for the future. I need to do more running as stock, so I can give a full review.
The dimensions are a bit off on the mn. Actually, I think they're a bit off on the trx4 too but you can get away with it a bit more on a longer wheelbase. At least traxxas got the wheel arches the right sort of size, so the rest doesn't really matter.
Hello Rc pie I just got a question to ask how do you drive in the rain with your rc car I know the rc car is waterproof but is the radio controller waterproof or you have to do something? Because I saw people drive their rc car in the rain I was like is the radio controller waterproof can it be wet?
I try not to go out to play in the rain, really. But if it starts raining a bit I'm not going to worry too much. If it starts chucking it down then I'd either pack up or consider simply putting a plastic bag over the transmitter.
Yes, it's great now. Hard to remember exactly what I did 2 years ago.. Some altered links, reversal of the servo horn and different rod ends and relaxing of the front axle angle by adjusting the top and bottom link lengths.
@@wahyudisoekisno7307 It's a good question. Until a few weeks ago, I would definitely have said the RGT without hesitation. It's so plush, looks great, handles well and just feels like a nice quality truck. However, now I've done a few little things to the MN, it's so much more likeable. The paint job makes it so much nicer to look at than the boring silver. The improved traction and stability from the tyres/wheels makes it loads better to drive and a proper battery makes a big difference. Plus, it's less than half the price. But.. the electronics and steering are rubbish and that lets it down. If I could only have one of them, I'd have a Rescuer.
Do you know that the body and the chassis isn’t made by mn model mn model just repainted the body. The body actually is made by a company called injora search it up and you will find the proof.
Mn model kind of just added a cheap electronic into the chassis and the body with a bit of upgrading it will be good 👍 just to remind you that the servo on this thing is horrible bettter upgrade a better servo.

It was kind of fun but the angles of the steering were horrible and spoiled the experience. I love driving it now though.

Really love the intro music!
Thanks. I just wanted something simple.

In which car are you using them?
Mn999 yellow version
Wow, I'm surprised that the MN999's esc can cope with a 3S lipo! Hopefully it will last.
Also the Mn999 tire look the same like the proline racing tire.
It does look quite like a hyrax copy but I'm sure it's not the same level of performance.
When is the next video coming out I am excited! 😊 when you said mn999 battery sucks can it fit a 7.4v or a 11.1v Lopo battery? 2s 3s?

Not goanna lie the mn999 hard body really looks like the trx4 defender body but it’s a d90 and Trx4 defender is a d110

Waw nice my friends,😍😍👍👍

Which one your favourite, RGT EX 869130 or MN 999, why.
Thank you
Can you check which RGT you mean? That's not an RGT model number.
Sorry, RGT EX 86190

The servo really is terrible. I did a bit of rock crawling with it yesterday and it's a real problem.
wen i looked yesterday they were £360! did u find 1 at £150?
Yeah, that's what I paid. Check the link!
rc bagus
Thanks.
