I’ve been riding for many years on 2 wheels and went to 3 wheels in April 23. I’m 67 and take a few long trips every year and my confidence was lessening on 2 wheels. Mostly because of the weight.
July did a 3000 mile trip to Harleys 120th in Milwaukee with no hesitation. Great trip.
Power, comfort and storage is great!
Live in Florida and ride all year. 2019 Tri Glide
    Very happy!

I hadn't been on 2 wheels for 31 years before I got my 2020 Tri Glide in Oct/Nov and because of that I had nothing to get used to and had a smooth transition.

very nice to have a trike channel. extra storage, stability and comfort. i voted for all three. i have expensive things i must travel with and it was a relief to not worry about anything being stolen when i was away from to bike to get food, etc, because i could lock them up in the bike. i break bones easily [20 so far] and i could break the long bones in my feet [metatarsals] just by putting a foot down, so not having to put a foot down was a good thing. i bought the bike to go cross country and i didnt want to curse a sore butt all the way. so HELLO TRIKE lol.

I am 59 and I do have a bad right knee, but my itch to get at trike is just for comfort. I have friends that have trikes and they tell me how much more comfortable they are on long rides. My next HD might be the Triglide Ultra.

Im 40. Dont have any major health issues as of yet lol but i own a 16 Freewheeler & 17 Street Glide. You dont have to be old to have one. I love my Freewheeler. So much so that its hard for me to choose which one to take on long distance rides. The Freewheeler is just that much more comfortable.

i purchased a Tri glide, for the fact i can tow a camper trailer and it also has more space for storage, compared to the two wheel and saddlebags, limited in storage. here in Australia many of our roads have been damaged due to the floods and a lot of uneven surfaces that and pots holes filled in and over and overlapping on the tarmac. I do notice when taking bends or sharp twisties, the front wheel can lift and jump about depending on speed. The tri glide doesn't do very well on rough road surfaces at certain speeds. And if you take roundabouts to sharply it can tilt or lift on one side, again have to slow done go out wide. I've been riding my trike for a year and clocked up 41000km, riding on all road and weather conditions. My trike has a stage 2 kit that keeps up with the 117 CVO. The Milwaukee 8 certainly has the power to perform, considering the weight of the trike and additional luggage weight. now that i am towing it still has performance and torque. That's a Harley for ya.

GVWR / GVM is far better than a bike. This was one of my deciding factors. I weigh in at 280lb + gear + passenger + overnight. The amount of people out there over the weight limit given for their bike is unbelievable.

My friend has a 2022 tri glide ultra with 114 and a stage two carb kit different pipes that let it breath better. I've have ridden it and trust me it's anything but sluggish or slow.
So if you do the right tune up on it you will get better performance out it

Recently traded in my HD Street Glide Special, got a 2024 Tri Glide Ultra and the wife loves it. It is much different, still getting used to it, slow down a lot on curves but the storage is great and its very comfortable.

Old video I know, but I have another reason I bought a Harley RG3. While I still have and ride a Road King Classic, I bought the trike to pull a small pop up camper (Mini Mate). People pull them with two wheels, but I wanted the extra wheel and brake for stability and safety. My mission has changed since last year, now I wish I had a Tri Glide. I like the fairing on the RG3, but now I could use the extra storage. I'll make the move, but maybe thinking I should wait to see if the upgraded tank and fairing is on the 2025 Tri Glide.

If they update the Tri glides next year, I may have to make an awesomely horrible but exciting decision once again!
      Happy ridin’!

When going at higher speed it gets a bit squarely. Just a slight touch on the handle bars and your going right or left NOW.

best one I've been told is they aren't as fun...that's far from the truth..they are a blast to ride especially once you get used to them and the tricks to ride how you like to.

It’s easier to pull a wheelie on a trike than a 2 wheeler.

the first trikes aka 'three wheelers' that came out decades ago were unsafe; today's trikes are not. power is also not a problem. it's a cruiser, not a racer. my 2018 can do 110mph without even breathing hard. it has a lot of torque as well. at no time, under any circumstance, has it not been able to perform brilliantly.

First time on your channel. I'm 69, and it's getting harder to get my bike off the kick stand. I've been thinking about a trike but can't afford one. I need a good windfall from somewhere!
