    Thank you for uploading these timeless classics. It is good to see blacks portrayed from this time period as "normal" with all the trappings/blessings of being part of the human race.

    i love the music in these films! This one has a happy ending. Imagine, a story, with the KKK, that has a happy ending.....

    Max Roach and those who hired him to the terrible disservice to this story. I am going to watch it is a genuine silent movie with no sound whatsoever from that crap composer

    you can't watch these films without a basic knowledge of eugenics and the general panic (among whites) about miscegenation, both of which influenced Americans at that time

      Miscegenation was commonly factored by
      plantation rape, not concentual bound between the races.
      Michaux's fans complained heavily
      about the number of
      racially hybrid characters
      in his films.
