I really like Dan Lambert. Randomly meet him on my vacation in Florida and had an almost 25 min conversation with him about both MMA and Pro Wrestling in a carpark. He was such a nice person, gave and signed an ATT cap for free.
I remember watching the show and kinda thinking that Kamaru was soooo confident borderline arrogant and let his head get to him. I knew he was going to win the tournament and I just remember being at UFC 210 in person. My friend and I got to meet and talk to him. Nicest guy on the planet and I knew Kamaru was great then but when we saw him win that night, I looked over at my friend and said "I don't know who beats him right now. Woodley is in a lot of trouble." Loved this season, introduced me to one of my favorites!
I think Kamaru did not excel in the reality tv show element of TUF, seems like he was more at ease in the cage than training and co-existing with the competitors. And I don't really blame him, going through a TUF season would be crazy on the social side aside from the fighting. Even your coaches are going at each others throats lmao.

I remember watching this season and sometime afterward Rumble fought DC in Vegas I was there at the time at a casino at the MGM at the main lobby the day before the fight and I saw this man and he looked at me and I looked at him and he was so familiar to me, I knew he was a manager and I couldn't put my finger on it, later on Glenn Robinson passed away and I realized it was him that I saw. It's kind of weird that you see someone and the next thing they are gone, since you never know when your time is up. I can't say I'm a huge fan, but I respect what he's done and it sucks that he passed away. The Blackzillians ended up changing their name I believe?
