My son just turned 21 yrs old and just graduated with his bachelor’s. He was going to enter law school but changed his mind and wants to be a pilot. He is 5 months into flight school and loves it. Watching him going through this really makes me realize that you really have to have passion and focus. I have new respect for pilots.
Wow! I’m SO impressed with your incredible journey from zero to 747 in like 3 years! I’ve never heard of anyone that have done this so quickly as you! As you said in another video, still too young to drive in certain situations but fly multimillion dollar jets? No problem. I bet you get some surprised looks from your colleagues that haven’t flown with you before. I bet they’re super impressed too!
New vid nice! I always watch these like at 6am and really sets the tone for the rest of the day. I go to LAX a lot since my parents are retired and visit Mexico a lot. Something about airports really calls to me because you see so many people from around the world. I'm working on being a nurse but sometimes I wonder if I should have worked in this field. Thanks for sharing and glad youtube recommended this channel early on. They know what they are doing lol.
I love the video so much, Esther! I'm 52😳, New Zealander, studied Mandarin while doing my law degree, then decided to go to Korea instead of China for my work❤ First I learned Korean at Keimyung University, Daegu (loved it!), then went to work with law firms in Seoul. Now, back in NZ, and preparing to start my PPL✈❤ My Dad flew🥰 and I look forward to carrying on his dream🙏 And I am still thinking of ways to return to Korea and fly! Thank you☺You are helping inspire my dream~~* Happy flying, and I look forward to your next video!
Congratulations on passing 10,000 subs! I got in just before you got 2,000. I am so happy you have started doing voice-overs throughout the whole video. It helps this slow reader out. 👍 And, thanks to you BF for catching your 🧈landing at LAX!
Thanks for taking us on your journey! I’m sure if you keep doing what you’re doing, you are going to get a lot of followers. You should try and do a video explaining what’s in your flight bag. Everyone’s always curious what other pilots carry with them.
Isn’t this the best job ever? What job pays you when you are sleeping or out exploring towns! I am so grateful. First year, I ate all the catering I was assigned to saw my takeoff weight getting heavier. Now I only eat when I’m really hungry.
Love your adventures 😊😊 Your questions while sleeping in the bunk are very difficult to answer when you're flying East/West crossing many times zones and the dateline. Overall, looks like your having Fun!!! ENJOY!!! 😊😊😊
2:20-2:43 luv it 🎉🎉 also the 5:31 cool i never see this before 😮😊,i like the vlog you have shown it’s just like we travel yourself with many kinds of food, dogs with no harm and remain over night hotel,.Keep up the steps 😂 btw… be safe and thank you
Took me a second to think which 747 with a layover in Hong Kong will come to Los Angeles. Should be a freight airline. Turns out to be Atlas and it makes sense. I wonder how many pilots are in contract with Atlas. Feels a lot but you are definitely one of the most lovely pilots
Esther Your video is amazing life of a pilot all over the wsorld. I am dressing up as a pilot for Halloween I always do every year because I had always wanted to be a pilot. Everyone lost my pilot costume. I got the hat, shirt and everything need to wear a pilot uniform haha. LAX is a busy airport I will be heading to Costa Rica in November flying out of LAX on Alaska Airlines. The hotel you stayed at is really amazing I love the window part for privacy or just show full window LOL I look forward to your next video
These are very nice videos, happy to see some flight plans and your travel vlog. hope to see more of it. just curious that you are flying cargo and commercial tgt? Normally i heard pilots flying either commercial or cargo only, rare to see both types.
Hey there Esther So I take it you flew for United or DL Express before Atlas ? How long where you there? How many hours did you have when you got hired on at the airline? cant wait for part II
@@estherinclouds ORD based? I was based there for my last 12 years at AA now retired. By the way I love your Channel... FYI, lived in Kunsan and Osan for 4 years. I miss my layovers to Kimpo

HI I am a Korean American pilot trying to get into Atlas once hiring resume. How many credits you get in a month? Is OT openly available for all seniority? if so , how easy it is to get it? I will be commuting from ICN and base in ANC . It seems there is a line that start from deadheading to somwhere in Asia, which will makes my job immensely easier as I don't have to touch ANC and deadhead from ICN to the whatever place in Asia my trip starts. Do you have any idea how easy it is to get one of those lines?
you must want to do a lot of cardio workout between flights one would think, to get your circulation working good, like swimming, cycling or running? even some rock climbing or Bouldering would be a good exercise and stretch. then again i guess time is very limited, the price you pay for such a high end job as pilot.

nice video, keep it up smart pilot :)
So Atlas assigned you to ANC basing or is that your only option since you are new with low seniority? Are the NY and Tampa basing harder to get?
Chinese hotel are top class, I have stayed all over china and it’s nice, I love Yibin.
cool vid what app do you use to view the flight plan or is it a company app?
jeppesen!
After that buffet, you needed every one of those 23,000 steps to burn it off
100% true😂
Does Atlas have a dedicated Loadmaster on each flight?
not always! sometimes they fly with us
So you flew E-jets for horizon before atlas.. NICE!

are you allowed to vlog during flight?
Do you get to accumulate your hotel and airline points?
most of the time yes!
I am from Qingdao and I’m a student pilot! is there still LAX-Qingdao nonstop airlines ? I thought they all cut it off after pandemic
do you work for Polar? or Atlas? or are they same company??
Is Atlas a good company to work for?
