Most vodeos I watch, when shooting the initial towers people walk to the top of the stairs and then backslide down and repeat that constantly to double the time they can shoot before needing to reload.

Just as a btw be careful when using charged melee for farming, people are getting better at dash parrying into minions to get easy stuns
