The last few videos were a lot of fun, but it’s time once again to do another 24 hour video.
This time we are going to be living at Church’s Texas Chicken, a brand new location in Barrie, Ontario, Canada.
We will be eating Lunch, Dinner and a fun snack before hitting the hay in our minivan camper, then in the morning it’s breakfast at Tim Hortons and back to Church’s for our last huge lunch before heading home.

But as a fire prevention officer and fire investigator, I’m a bit concern with the carbon monoxide generated from the use of a fuel fire heater in an enclosed space such as your van! Just a heads up! Leave a tiny crack in one of your van window to allow this nasty unburned fuel to exit your van, and keep a fresh breathing environment for yourself! Keep it up my friend! I have a high roof Sprinter van, and I love it! Highly recommended, you can easily walk in it, very comfortable!

Ken use a couple pieces of velcro to stop your table from moving. Put one side about 2or 3 inches long on the side of van and other side of velcro on table. It should be plenty strong enough to hold table in place. Just an idea.
Get Out and use a concrete step. Ewt😅ng in a rig is not a good thing .
Hey Ken you have some of the best camera work I’ve ever seen in a UA-camr. So thanks for sharing such a great content with everyone and putting in so much passion in everything you do.
For the strip lights, there is actually a variety of options! You can have them running through a USB, wall outlet or even on battery's. In my opinion, the USB option would be the most efficient. I'm pretty sure the lights only consume about 5W of energy aswell. Best of luck, Ken!

In the States, Church's menu is pretty simple compared to Canada's. Their fried okra in the states is really amazing.
This is awesome I grew up eating Church's Chicken here in San Antonio, Texas. Didn't know they expanded to Canada!

Fun fact. Church's Chicken was born in San Antonio, TX.
A few years ago their spicy chicken beat out Popeyes in a taste test and they celebrated at the historic San Fernando Cathedral with none other than Hollywood Hulk Hogan!

I never heard of Church's Chicken until I watched someone's food review, probably more than a few years ago (might be more longer ago than I realize). I think it was when the Pretzel Crust Pizza first came out. Not sure if there's a Church's in Oregon. There's an In-N-Out in Keizer which is like a close relative to Salem - the cities are like a double star. All the food from Church's Chicken looked satisfying. I was actually eating Taco Bell while watching this 😀

The way the Damp Rid works, i believe it allows humidity to be at a certain level, anything over that the material wicks the moisture out of the air, only time you should see water is if its super humid, or after a long time.
Back when I lived North West of Miami (Hialeah) in the late 70's to mid 80's, I used to eat at a Church's Chicken. They used to have dinners that you got 2 to 4 pieces of chicken, a bisket, a corn on the cob, and a jalapeno pepper. I always made sure I went with at least one friend, cause no one liked the peppper, so they always gave me theirs, since I loved them. I miss eating at Church's Chicken. I found the next best chicken places are Bojangles, and/or Poppie's (sp?)!

Hey Ken down here in South Texas, Church's Chicken is just that, Chicken 🐔. The menu in Canada is way different. They serve grilled chicken 🐔. And regular fried chicken 🍗. But no chicken tacos. Great video 📹 👍 *Oh yeah the biscuits are just Bisquick mix. And they just scoop them out, with an ice cream scoop, and covered with honey 🍯 syrup mix. It's honey cut with corn syrup 😋
Your making me hungry! However looking at the snow is making my bones ache. I love the idea of stealth camping in converted delivery trucks or a tiny home where a bathroom is part of the design. Oh and I don't watch sports. A 2 on spicy isn't spicy at all. I prefer the spice be in the breading, & not in a sauce.
Skip the wraps and sandwiches. Their fried chicken and honey biscuits are what makes them good.
I'm rooting for the Rams. I'm from the Metro D area. Stafford suffered the Lions for years. He deserves the ring for that alone.

Gravy, fries and cheese (mozz, cheddar etc) are called Disco Fries and are available in a lot of diners all over the US.

Steaming hot honey biscuit is a good way to warm up on a cold night! Also, I see that VanCity VanLife sticker/glass/whatever that is, there! Weirdos unite!
Try velcro strips for the table. It's truly a a quick/inexpensive fix. Attach a couple patches to the table and the other to the van wall.
Those biscuits are the biscuits they serve with combos, the dessert ones have an icing topping similar to their apple pies…

There are no Churches near where I live but I had it when I went to Waco Texas last April. I think churches is the best even better than Popeyes! My husband agrees no stickers on the hats and the fitted ones are much better than the adjustable hats.
as a quick fix for the chair,stuff one or two of the pillows in the gap between it and the cooler make it a little tight :D

In Texas there is no "Texas" in the title. It's Church's chicken. Used to be the best chicken joint...lots of competition now. They have great biscuits and they do tenders right.
I think it's just the Canadian locations with Texas in the title.
They had stand alone Church’s FRIED Chicken locations in the Toronto area back in the 1980’s, then they all disappeared after a while. Then they served Church’s chicken at some Harvey’s hamburger locations in the mid to late 1990’s, then that stopped after a while. Then I noticed a few Church’s Chicken locations back in the Toronto area around 5 years ago. I’m from New Jersey (where there is currently only one Church’s location in the entire state), but I’m basing my Toronto area knowledge from the many trips I’ve taken over the years…
Never tried church’s but the food looks really good. Love the tickled toad hat. Wish we didn’t live so far , I’d try their food and buy a hat. Up here in northern Ontario we don’t get the variety of places to eat like you do down there. Love your videos

Fun fact in SE Asia we have Church’s chicken but for some reason it’s rebranded to Texas chicken. Same menu though.

We have a church’s chicken just around the corner from home. You did your last review from this place, same place that gave you a tiny tomato on your sandwich! Lol! I love this chicken, I think it’s better than KFC... We have it once every two months as a treat. Love your lasted reviews. Keep up the good work.
Use your dish washer no dishes make sure to use cascade and rinse aide normal settings full cycle. After wards air dry on a big bath towel. Put on top rack they make 🧢 racks to put in your dishwasher good as new .

I must say I'm super jealous because the churches Texas chicken that in Canada is so much better than where I live first of all they don't have half the stuff that yours have and they're usually out of things and they're not the cleanest so you're very lucky.

Ken you need a front window sun screen. We all have them here in Texas otherwise the interior get way to hot. Also protects the dash

We had Church fastfood in the 90s here in Suriname. It was the worst of allll food chains. Our own fast food was 10x better. No add or propaganda could help them. They had to close down within a year

You should try doing like a day thing. Like spend the weekend somewhere in the city.
Flex Fit > Snapback. Always. Especially if you love wearing your hats backwards like us 80's/90's kids. Also take the stickers off. You leave them on, they'll leave that nasty sticky residue on them. No point leaving them on unless you are from the ghetto or something.
Never ate at Church's, will be on the lookout.
I live in Florida, never cared for Churches chicken, prefer Popeye's and as a last resort KFC. We have a couple of local spots in Pensacola that are much better than any fast food chain. Just good ole down home southern fried chicken. Oh BTW WTH is all that white crap all over the ground up yonder??

The Mexicana wrap is my favorite at Church's. I usually get the jalapeño bombers as a side. If you like spicy, you will like them 🥵

From Edinburgh UK. We don't have "biscuits" here at all. A scone (rhymes with "gone") is the closest thing we have, but they're sweet and you eat them with cream and strawberry jam. Definitely not with egg and cheese, or fried chicken haha. Fast food style breakfast here is either on a bread roll or an English muffin.
I notice you gas tank is very low. In winter always have 1/2 tank of gas.
