BIGBANG was always ahead of their time. The BLUEPRINT of KPOP. Nowadays, there's never a group without a high-tone and a low-tone rapper. And that is modeled after GD & TOP of Bigbang. They made so many firsts during their time that many in the industry are still doing right now. Since their hiatus, kpop has been stagnant with no innovation in music.
Their influence is widespread & no matter what misfortunes are thrown at them, their LEGACY will remain.

G-Dragon is known to the industry of K-pop as one of the most talented songwriters.. many idols (from 3-4 generations) have these guys as role models
I like that. Takes some serious skill to be that good w/lyrics
Watch BigBang live performances. They rule the stage as a group , subunit or solo . They make the distance between stage and public disapear . You are missing out . BigBang had a major influence in transforming kpop into what it is today . The first rapline, the first to write and produce their music , the first lightstick, proved solo careers are possible without disband, brought the big fashion houses into kpop.

Since becoming a treasure fan, my standard for stage performance is them, if the performance is not like theirs I will be less satisfied

My ultimate boy group is BIGBANG and my last boygrouo for this kpop fangirl life is TREASURE.
The thing with TREASURE they're literally children of BIGBANG and iKON.
Haruto's parents are BIGBANG fan. He grow up listening to their music. His parents were so proud when he accepted to YG Japan to be a trainee. Now he's on YG and doing his mark to be a great artist.
Asahi attended iKON concert in 2015 with his parents and at that moment he decided to be an idol. Asahi vividly share their conversations after the IKON concert.
Yoshi's sister is a fan of BIGBANG and he accompanied her to one of their concert. He was so amazed and like Haruto and Asahi, he decided to be an idol too.
In TREASURE song entitled STUPID (from Reboot Album) he shared that he was inspired from BIGBANG song entitled STUPID and 2NE1 song Ugly (if i can remember). Now the Japanese version of his song become a titktok viral in Japan. (So can see clip in tiktok)
HYUNSUK and JIHOON really wants to debut and become an artist in YG because they believe it was the company that will give them opportunity to write, compose and produce their songs

BIGBANG lives are on another level. they really set the standard for live performances and all these younger YG groups grew up watching/learning from them.

@TEEJ-9 yap. They always have different arrangements for every tours. With live band and ad libs it's different vibe.
They are the Legends, they still dominate our playlists today. Majority of my family got into Kpop cos of this group, the kids even performed a Taeyang song a wedding recently. They were ahead of their time. It’s hard to have a favorite. We do love the other groups but Big Bang is No 1.
BigBang is the celebrity of the celebrities. I love Treasure so much but BingBang is the KING OF KPOP. Well, I always admire the fact that you check the MV first before the live perf for reference. Thanks
BIGBANG AND IKON ARE TREASURE SENIORS.SAME COMPANY
Treasure are really good at covering their label's senior artists, as they all have that YG swag, and do really love to pay homage to the ones that came before. They would also cover Winner who isn't in this cover mashup but still a really good cover. You will find lots of little connections between especially the boy groups BigBang, Winner, iKON and Treasure. Each group brought something new and you can see the seniors influence reflected in Treasure while they also bring their own thing to the table.

Still many koreans played this on streets and festival. Together with their other songs like Sunset Glow and GD's CROOKED

Big Bang was the group of the 2nd Gen. Bang Bang Bang is a must in Norabangs, the song is like an anthem, I think almost all idols have sang this song at some point, even if only in a norabang (karaoke in Korean ) Tae & JK have done many big bang songs, so has all of BTS, if you is a nice slow jam, then fantastic baby, sunset glow, many many more. Stray kids actually performed this song at an award show I believe, but the did a great job too

Bigbang have some really awesome songs, I love their club bangers cos they get me really hyped. Fantastic Baby is another fun one.
G Dragon is the guy with pink hair and a rather distinctive voice, and T.O.P. was the one in the cowboy hat rapping with the deep voice. Taeyang is (I think) the one with blond hair in twists. He did a collab with Jimin from BTS fairly recently, Vibe. Those three all have solo and duo music as well as collabs with other artists. I'm really sorry to VIPs because I can't remember the names of the other two, I know one left.
I definitely understand not wanting to deep dive on every band you listen to. Even learning who all the members are is sometimes more mental energy than I'm really up for using. Sometimes, you just want to enjoy the music and get on with your day.
I'm the same with most of the bands I listen to unless I take a special interest in them. I think that's okay, I think the music is the most important thing, and that most band members would agree. But for videos, you don't want to be disrespectful to the fans by not knowing names. I still recommend listening to them in your off time.

11:44 yes! hyunsuk is excellent at leadings crowds too! If you notice, he didn’t even had a singing or a rapping part on both of these covers (he does have a rap part on their “Fantastic baby” cover but that cover only has the fancam version of it) but even so, he’s one of the most noticeable ones. his stage presence and ability to do adlibs and hype the public is no joke ❤️🔥
He can sing too! Hahahaha I’m not sure he took vocals lessons but he got a good vocal range! It can be hear on the demo’s of their songs, some covers he has uploaded and (not many) clips on their videos

They are indeed THE EMPERORS OF KPOP and was soooo ahead of their time. Imagine, they are the only group that realeased a song (a rock ballad to top it off) at midnight with only posting of polaroids leading up to it but still got the whole of Korea hooked. They were the only Kpop Boy Group starting 2022 that got roofthits after roofhits weeks after the song was released. That song was queen STILL LIFE. 😭💛

Before TREASURE performed BANG BANG BANG in their first ever concert, they were visited by BIGBANG leader GDRAGON and he gave them tips how to perform on stage… He told them to just enjoy the performance with the crowd instead of worrying too much about the choreography… That is why you noticed that the song BANG BANG BANG goes so hard but their choreography is just chill. Even in their dance practice you will clearly see how chill they are… Hope you also react to some live performances by BIGBANG.
As for your question about HYUNSUK, I think it’s just in his DNA that he can perform like that. He really idolized BIGBANG growing up, just like other TREASURE members. Before he decided to be rapper he was a soprano in their choir when he was young 😊💎

I’m so glad to see you’ve reacted to Big Bang yo! Big Bang is that group who are known as ‘The Idols, IDOLS’. They have done so much for future generations in Kpop. A lot of idols inspiration to become a Kpop artist is due to G-Dragon (the guy in the red hair). Please if you have a minute, also check out IKON (were from YG, but also inspiration to Treasure as well). You’ll be able to see that YG Colour watching IKON as well - you won’t be disappointed 👌🏽

You have to watch other songs of bigbang. I'm sure you will be like them too. They do so different music. All of their songs is uniqe and special. You have to watch orginal live performance too
No one does it like Bigbang and Treasure does. They're the definition of real artists to me. With talents and with real stage presence of a real performer. Yeah talents could be made through rigorous training, but the aura that YGAs have is something u can't ever create no matter how hard you try. From 2ne1 and Bigbang to Winner, Blackpink and Ikon and now to Treasure and even BaeMon. I could only blame YG for setting my standards so high. Yg was my first group, and Yg will be my last group. They have the real deal.

Since Seungri's Burning Sun scandal in 2019, the other Big Bang members have continued with great success. G-Dragon is a seriously well known producer and fashion icon. Taeyang is the idol of BTS Jimin since pre-debut days. Last year they did a collaboration on Taeyang's solo comeback called "Vibe (feat. Jimin)." Check it out. Their voices blend well.

I almost cried when I started this reaction. WOW BIGBANG! This is the group that my daughters started with, back in 2009/2010 maybe early, their high school and college years ( now 32 &33). So of course this was my first intro to Kpop, long before BTS. My understanding up until recently you stayed loyal to one group you didn't have multiple groups. I think that has been more recently. I think you might be the first reactor to react to BigBang. so again Thank you!
So BigBang is amazing. Love BANG BANG Bang and Fantastic Baby, there are more. T.O.P is the member with the cowboy hat. I believe that is his thing to wear, hats all types. The live with Treasure ( thanks for introducing me to them) was the first time I saw BigBang with dark hair. To my knowledge BigBang ( BTS loves, their idols) started with coloring the hair ( at least those bright vibrant colors) and I also think they brought in the light stick.,and doing mini albums. Just a few of their first to do.
Daesung also put out a solo album this past March. G Dragon as a child was a model and actor. I know he writes lots of songs. Hoping for an album from him. Also, Suga had Taeyang on his show Suchwita, as must see ( all episodes, actually) you learn a lot because it is a true talk show. Well, they eat/drink and talk but not a game show. It is really a time for the artist to talk about their loves, passions. You learn a lot.

Hello! I finished the video after the reaction towards BigBang's MV. You should have seen a live performance of the group with that song, and then compare it with the other groups and realize that none of them comes close to the original. I recommend you watch BIGBANG's live performances. Personally, I hate covers of BB songs.

They're no longer a group. They were once big in the kpop industry, they still have a fan base today. But I refuse to listen to their group music because of the Burning Sun incident, I can't stand looking at that punk.
