I’ve always wondered what you do with the minis you build. Do you keep your favourites and sell or give away the rest? Do you just have shelves of these around your house?
@@donavonseibert507 as I said, I have not done this one. Usually I take my time, before I go to bed to work on this hobby. I may work 1-3 hours before I go to bed each night. It may take a couple of weeks if it is not complicated. The longest I have spent is a couple of months. It had a complicated wire system and that can trip me up. It all depends on your skills and patience. I figure it is not a race. The pleasure is in the doing.
@@janehall2720 I think you just convinced me I could do one. I'll just have to remember there's no deadline and I can take my time. I've been wanting to for so long but I get intimidated. Are the directions pretty easy and clear to follow?
@@donavonseibert507 sometimes the instructions are non-existent or in Chinese, I have to say. Usually they are just photos. I have not had much trouble. The hardest was in Chinese but I just followed the pictures. You can't let it get to you. The biggest challenge that I had was gluing a piece and trying to get the thing to dry where I put it. Sometimes the fairies moved it in the night. 😖 I use binder clips to hold pieces but sometimes I can't get it positioned just so. Half my time is spent waiting for glue to dry. I am too cheap to hunt down special glue. I use Aileen's craft glue. Give it a try. They are very fun.
@@janehall2720 The advice I can give you about glue that my mom ALWAYS told me, "less is more". And it really is so true I've come to learn. Idk how much you're using, but I hope that helps possibly! I'm excited about this I can't wait to start. Thank you for the encouragement😊.

Wow ! Your videos are awsome. I like all of your videos. I also want to do a house like you. For that, I have two questions. Is the glue you use in the box or is it your own glue ? There are always something under the house and can I leave it ? Because I don't want to use the thing and I just want the house. I will wait for your answer.

I was wondering that too!
I have a shelf set up and put 2 to a shelf. I don't have little kids around the house so no worries about them messing them up.
I don't know how people don't like these videos they are so satisfying

i just got into mini house kits and i’m having such a hard time with glue and adhesive! what do you use?!
Dollar tree super glue for wood, fabric tac glue for fabric, and stick glue for paper. Do not use a glue gun!
I use Fabritac and it's amazing, give it a try. You can use it for all crafts.
@@ResistivePear Not on paper though, Fabric tac is only for fabric and ruins and discolors paper that isn't coated with modge podge, learned that the hard way.
I got tacky craft glue from Bunnings, witch works for them all. But I’m Australian, do they have that where you guys live? (Which I assume is America)
@@juliannehannes11 I actually use it for paper too, and it has never discolored it.

They probably used wood glue for the wooden peices/house and craft glue for everything else idrk though ^^;;
I think they use silicone glue
hello :) which craft glue do you reccomend for that stuff ?

what glue do you use? I have a house to build but it came with no glue and the glue i got is really weak and leaves a weird plasticky finish.

looks like they are using uhu. it is a clear quick-dry gel adhesive and doesn't have a super strong smell
