- Ossie Pleasant rescued this Volvo C304 (TGB13) from a field a few years back and gave it a lot of love to get going again.
You can see more of the Volvo on Ossie's instagram: @ ossiep - Авто та транспорт
We had this Volvo in my Company when I was in the Swedish Army back in 1979. It´s an awesome vehicle.
Hello, this was the transportvehicle for a grenadrifle group when I did my military service. 8 guys, 2 x 84mm carlgustav grenadrifles 1 maschingun, and 50 antitankmines. And a lot of other equipment 😅.
In the platoon we also had 2 Hägglunds 2061 with 90mm recoillessguns or TOW robots.
Did I mention, this was 77-79 😁
Tgb13 = terraincar 13 😲

Thank you for sharing!
you are not a 🤓
Nice. Spent many hours in those during my military service. Thanks for sharing 👍🏼
Man that thing is sweet! I like it better than the unimog! I'm impressed. Terrific job
Ahh…nostalgic vibes comes to me when I drove one of these in the swedish army 1986-87 🤩
I used to drive a Tgb20 back when I did my military service in 1997-98. The Tgb20 is basically the same, just a bit longer and no hard sides on the back. It was a troop transport so you could fold down the entire side and disembark all 18 soldiers in a matter of seconds. Our vehicle was fitted with a plywood wall separating the rearmost compartment and makin it into a storage compartment. We usually carried about 1.000 kilos of landmines there. xD
I _very_ much regret that I didn't buy one when the Swedish armed forces sold them out just after the millenium. Back then you could buy one in pristine condition for about 10.000 SEK or about $1.000. The used ones were basically sold as scrap.
I don't know about one pristine conditions coming out of military commission. Lots of reckless and terrible driver in the army.
The Sweden army did not sell any of it except thru ONE company some army selling and they got it pricey. Then Sweden gave the Baltic states some trucks and people got a lot of it from there. The Sweden army did only gave some trucks to the Baltic to hide all the stealing from the armed forces in Sweden thru the years. Then they sold a bunch of materials to a auctions company from England and they sold a lot of it in Sweden. Absolutely shameful that the Swedes did not have a change to by it some years ago.
Very nice, an off road video. Thank you.
I been looking for one for the longest time! 😮
I drove the tgb 13, when I did army service 1979-80. I drove the ”sick transport” (ambulanse light). It had a high top cabin behind the drivers cabin. We destroyed quite a few clutches...
I need one of those 👍 Awesome 😎
Wow! what an amazing 4WD!!!
4wd? It's a 6wd
Thats a real Earth raper you got their.
I drove the C303/tgb11 (the 4x4 version) in the army, but trained on the C304/tgb13 as well. The latter felt more stable in rough terrain (somewhat worse than the one in the video), but I never had any serious mishap. The snow/terrain chains provide extra grip, but are a chore to mount.
Would love to check out your ride next time I'm in the CO.
Pretty cool
love it!
Looks like being in the Jurassic Park, amazing!
Awesome!
Need an updated video :p I still can't decide if I like my 303 or I made the wrong choice and should of got a 304.
so much fun
Do you live by Hugh Hartman elementary? I saw a c304 in someone's driveway and I took a few pics and had to do some research since I've never seen one before. Funny enough I think it might be yours!
Do you have the snowchains? They are also used when going offroad, this way the Tgb 13 basically gets you anywhere
Doesn't look like you aired down? If so,
How is it to air down that beast and what air pump do you use to get those big boys back up?
Hello, why did you remove the 4K video?

DO YOU KNOW ANYONE THAT HAS A Volvo TGB 1314 C304 6×6 FOR SALE? THANK YOU
Seem to remember seeing this video some time ago(more than 2weeks). Just curious about how the build is going. And specifically, what sort of interior height did you get with the pop top?
The interior is still empty while Ossie is still designing a build out. Cant remember an exact height, but I want to say it is around 6ft
@@brandnhaley The ideal rough country overlanding vehicle, excellent offroad and no electronic gizmos!!
When you are ready to sell let me know...
Did you say rebuild the carbs at 1:23? Just wondering since it runs on diesel. I think a lot of the cars in Cuba are converted to run on cheap black market diesel.
These are gas
What is the need of 6x6
👍
I’ve been looking everywhere for one for 3 years now. (24yr old firefighter) any advice on where to look??

@@rafagiro3744 not yet. It’s been almost 6 years of searching. Everyone I’ve contacted either just sold one or wants and arm and a leg. Covid really screwed the pricing up
