Great video Howard! I took my part two in Southampton and the route was heavy with Motorway’s and motorway spiral roundabouts.. It’s definitely worth being familiar with the test area as my examiner was very keen on seeing me plan ahead for the next speed zone change.
I passed with 4 faults, one being ‘boxed in’ on the motorway in lane one and not taking the initiative and timing to overtake slow moving traffic.
Best of luck to Adam. 👍🏼

I’ve got my Part 2 test booked but do not have a date yet, this was a great video and some good advice, i have adaptive cruise control and a speed limiter and i was not aware that it was expected to be used during your test

Thank you, very kind, glad you like it. You don’t need to do a commentary for Part 2, but if it helps you do it. However, some people struggle to do it well and their drive is affected as they are concentrating on what to say rather than to drive well.

@@tahirlalisa5325 I can't remember exactly, but I've only got 1 test centre within a reasonable distance, so you select the test centre you want, it will probably say no test dates available, then I think it gives addresses of nearby test centres.
Near the bottom of the page, after it tells you there are no test dates available, there is an option something like "put test on hold", you go through the payment options, and they send an email when a date becomes available, I think I got an email maybe 2 weeks before my test.
I was checking every day for cancellations, but gave up and just waited for the email
      Hope that helps

27:38 My instructor advised me to start from right blind spot then end up with rear view window because that's the direction of travel. Then from there I was advised to do an all round observation while moving. So you are aware of any hazards while moving. Interesting on the different approach. I wasn't sure about the palming on the wheel while you went backwards. Also when you left the duel carriageway, I would have indicated at the first countdown marker rather than at the last one which gives other drivers around you of your intentions. But i'm not an instructor myself as yet. I have my part 2 booked for October

Hello Adam , I'm waiting for my part 2 date as I have been on hold . Can I practice with your lesson as well? I'm based in Peterborough.
