      Ricardo Santos How long does it take, and what about those sites like skylive and cometison2013 are those real informations? for example cometison show 372km/s and gets closer to earth and away from sun...

    Someone should embed the video over on the Google+ Event page. People are wondering when it starts, and might not know to go over to UA-cam. I tried posting the UA-cam link there, and got an error that I'm not allowed to comment. Geez.

      Everyone just go to Google and type in SDO and they have more to see. This is just talking heads and they're probably on a delayed feed.

    I'm doing a project in school for Comet #ISON, and I went online for info about it, finding out that it burned up. I, of course, freaked out, because I thought my project committed suicide in the Sun. Then I found this, and I recovered. Thanks NASA! My project lives, if only by a little.

    Are you going to actually show us something? Or are you just going to talk about the comet and answer our questions? At the Google event it says "Fire vs. ISON, watch the epic battle live". Where's the battle? It's been 35 minutes since I came here to watch and there are no interesting things... Thank you...

      What are you expecting to see minute by minute considering it is on the 'far side of the Sun' at the moment?? Where do you think such unique cameras are located?

    Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and thank you for your time this day. Comet Ison is unpredictable in what it does or does not do, so it is.     i just think ison was a coverup for a spaceship ho use it to stealth and went into sun spot (aka.blackhole)and use it as a stargate to a nother galaxy or something else and dispache of the comet and nasa will say it has dezintegrated and thats it

    After watching this for a while now, its hilarious looking at the conspiracy nuts posting videos saying that ison is a dwarf star and its actually a planet.. Man people really just do not understand astrophysics, or sheer logic. haha

    Well luckily a few posts ago I said Ison may have gone electrically neutral and will reenergize past perihelion, AND thats exactly what has happened!!! Ison is back and we should expect to see a beautiful comet the next few months!

    Having the ability to interact with Nasa on an event is and should be considered a cherished thing. You can see that they are human and there is a lot of data that goes into an event like this. You just can't stand outside and point in the sky and say there it is.
