    Great video, did really enjoy it. You did stay overnight outside of Etosha, very good joice. What I did not understand is, that you did Not Get a „street“ map of Etosha! This makes it a lot easier to navigate and believe me, there are a lot of interesting waterholes to visit! By the way, next time ask to a Ranger for the best places to watch a lot of different wildlife! Tx for a great video! Greetings from Windhoek.

    Good information! Enjoy, but at 6:50 "precious cargo" should be in a 'kiddie seat'/belted at least or do you disagree?

      She was belted, but has a habit of pulling the belt down her shoulder and tucking it under her armpit.

    was 14 days long enough?

    • @WhereNextFamily
      @WhereNextFamily  8 місяців тому

      Yes 14 days is enough to see a good amount. If you can do longer then it's even better but in 2 weeks you can get a great variety of scenery, wildlife and culture 😊

    Did you have to worry about getting Malaria pills this time of year? Do you see mosquitos even or just flies?

    • @WhereNextFamily
      @WhereNextFamily  Рік тому +1

      To be honest we've never taken Malaria tablets. We have lived in Africa for the past 3 years.

    I wonder if the elephants can smell water from a distance and find these watering holes.

    • @WhereNextFamily
      @WhereNextFamily  Рік тому +2

      It's quite good in Etosha actually as they have man made water holes approximately every 10km, so the elephants don't have far to go in order to find water 🙂

    Unfortunately, the Etosha National Park is in such a bad stage nowadays. Everything is totally overpriced and completely neglected. The food is bad and the roads have completely deteriorated with absolutely no help and reaction from the namibian government. The ministry of Environment and Tourism doesn't seem to care. 😡

      As much as this may be true. If you compare to parks that we have in East Africa, it’s still amazing and super cheap
