I've visited Phnom Penh in 2007 and again last year. The differences are immense! Much cleaner, far more developed and seemingly safer. Traffic is just as crazy though. Back then there was just one mall and getting around involved motorcycle taxis paid in USD
14:36 The blue flag represents the Royal standard, while the multicolored one symbolizes Buddhism. And yes, you're correct; the last one is the Cambodian National flag. This reflects Cambodia's motto: "Nation, religion, and King."
It's so wild to see it so developed. I was there in 2003 and there were very few paved roads. I stayed in the Embassy area and it was all dirt roads. I don't think there were any high rises (if there were, it was just a few). The countries first escalator went in to operation the week I was there... Anyway, it's a great country, with wonderful people. I hope to go back one day.

It can be dangerous for asian people as the Chinese underworld is set up in Cambodia due to their lax laws against them. A lot of kidnapping for slave work, human trafficking, and even human organ trafficking. Just don't get yourself involved with the Chinese over there and if it's hard for you tell them Chinese from other asian apart good luck to you. But they will usually not deal with "white people" as it's too much heat.

Answering the pharmacy question: In Cambodia we have a culture which if someone starts a business then more people will start the same business in the same area so people would know where to go get “ something they want“ for example , the place you filmed at is called Phsa Tapang so whenever people needs to buy pills they would know which area to go because Phsa tapang is known for having a lot of pharmacies.
