I have been doing taekwondo since kindergarten, and I'm a 2nd dan black belt. And everything socks said about the stretxching IS REALLY ACCURATE (except for trampoline)

I do tae kwon do and I really like it. I am a yellow belt but your instructor went all out. Yes we do stretching and the warm up. Then it’s like the forms , basics and kick punching.

Ok, taekwondo is split into 3 parts. Exellence, poomsae and sparring. Poomsae is aboutnperfecting your kicks and doing patterns, sparring is about fighting, which has the most competitions, and exellence is everything mixed together in a 45 minute class. Meanwhile poomsae and sparring are 2 hours to 45 minutes, depending on what club. Just wanted to educate some people out there.

Pool party because the year was almost over, but the whole grade was there and there were lots of chicken fights, My friend and I decided to do it too. I was the structure and he was the fighter. We DOMINATED the pool.

Dude, my Teakwondo training was the SHIT! I did it for 6 years, won several awards and got a huge (and much needed, I was a crybaby) selfconfidence boost.
I got to the blue belt, but my family moved and there was no other course around.
I am very thankful for what it taught me, but I miss it.
