Jim thank you for an awesome video we bought this lock six months ago and I’ve been procrastinating i’m going to Install it today I also bought two extra fobs we’re getting ready to go to Alaska early next year thanks for your videos We have a 2017 lance 975 truck camper
I believe only the deadbolt is automatic. The top lock is operated by using the key or the red levers inside. I'm not 100% but I think that's the case.
@@dawnr6577 I was hoping that it was both locks as well however as time went on I just use the deadbolt and it works fine. It is still Leaps and Bounds ahead of the original system that comes with most RVs.

Sounds amazing. Happy camping. :)
A wise old man once told me that all a lock does is keep the honest guy honest. Good video
Do you have to get the lock that has those two pins or can you go with one that does not have the two pins
Did you purchase the Strike Plate separately and is it from RVlock? I’m in the same situation with an older rv. Thanks!
Just installed mine but its only locking the deadbolt. How do I get it to lock the top lock?

@@fullmoonadventureclub Yep. Rvlock confirmed that. Defeats the purpose of keyless
