That was great! What a difficult song for this young kid to tackle but a great choice. Unlike most songs It works well with a child singing it as well as an adult.
One of the most amazing performances i have ever seen by any person of any age! His interpretation is so thoughtful, full, specific. Wow.

Last night I saw Benjamin as The Little Boy in “Ragtime” and a couple of weeks ago as Winthrop in “The Music Man”. He’s a standout and here he’s singing Sondheim. I suspect he has no idea how difficult Sondheim is to perform! He’s incredible, so natural. He’s one to watch.
This is not an easy song, seasoned pros like to use it to show off, he's obviously ready to be challenged.

He's singing it extremely slow from what we're used to, and that's actually the accompaniment. But I can see how it sounds off
