The key phrase is the 'greeting' or praise in the idea of repetitive prayer directed to God through the very act that he has chosen to glorify Himself, so the angelic salvation heralding the 'gospel good news' of the Incarnation is actually central to this tradition. Also, prayer directed to God in this way is 'timeless', present to Him in eternity. Unless he forgets the soul or voice crying out earnestly this prayer, he will seek out this soul with grace. Hence, Mary is very present as the mediation of this act of grace, and explains her title 'mediatrix of all grace' while being 'kecharitomene' as the very name the Angel gives her in the salutation.
