What‘s the weight of the car after stripping? Is the e39 an alternative to an e36 as a track tool?

This car has around 1425kg weight with almost full tank of fuel and no driver. It can be track tool alternative to E36, but it is 200-300kg more heavier car with same engine, so E36 is more nimble and faster for comparison. Of course E39 can handle much wider tyres, larger brakes and has more modern suspension, but 5-series is bit too big to be considered "racespec"
