I really appreciate the fact that you show us when you make a mistake. It makes you so human and so much like us! Thank you for being real and for all that you teach us. You truly are a leader in the quilting community. ❤
Loved your question and answer segment. The “ there’s no rule, it’s your quilt” is the best. I’ve said before I love how pragmatic you are. Thank younPat
I went hiking this morning at one of our beautiful county parks here in the valley of the sun. With all the rain this winter the wildflowers are gorgeous!
Your Harrisonburg quilt is so pretty! Sorry about your boo-boo. I got messed up with the sashing on my Scrappiness is Happiness butterflies and sewed sashing on top rather than below so I also had a date with Jack. My boo-boo was only 21-1/2" long though. Love your yellow and white butterflies! They just pop on your blue background.
My March block a day is going well. I keep shopping my stash to see how many pinks I can find...I'll let you know lol Star of David block pretty fabrics! Your new piggy cute! 😅 I learned on Quilting with Ying the butterfly center is their abdomen! 🦋
I love porch swing fabric line and bought some fat quarters already! I love those colors and prints because they look so reasonable to work with without a lot of worries…just genius!
Hi Pat.. enjoy your program, so much knowledge & ALL the quilts you have made, just amazing!! The gnome story is cute. Question have you worked with flour/ feed sacks? I'm interested in the history & I do have Feed sacks book but wondering if you made or have suggestions how to handle the fabric/product,. starch so ends don't ravel?? Thanks.. your program is great 😊

I just love “There is no rule. It’s your quilt.”
I appreciate how you show us the mistakes AND how you fix them! THank you, Pat!!

Given all the social media you keep up, you piece very quickly. You are my quilting cheerleader.
So much fun to watch Pat everyday!
Quilting & Jack go together like chocolate & peanutbutter
Wow! 800 quilts. Amazing 👏
Pink polka dot piggie 🐷 so cute!!
I love Ott lights. I have a floor model by my sewing machine, and a table model by where I watch TV for when I do counted cross stitch.
I also have one by my sewing machine. I love it.
I also have the floor model with the magnifier. It was my mom's, but now it is mine. I love it.
The best part about your block a day quilt is your collection of unique fabrics!! What a conversation piece that quilt is going to be❤❤
Good morning dear quilt friends ❤

Thanks for sharing
Watching Pat while sipping a cup of tea…..perfect way to start my day!
Good Morning Miss Pat from Virginia Beach. I Loved Your show this morning. You made me laugh. Upside down piggy. Loved It. 🥰🥰
I went hiking this morning at one of our beautiful county parks here in the valley of the sun. With all the rain this winter the wildflowers are gorgeous!
I think definitely all the pink critters should go for a little girls quilt.
Thinking some butterflies would be nice in next March's Block a Day!
Suggestion for future, I number my blocks and my rows. I use small stickers from dollar store.
Love the Harrisonburg quilt, and your little butterfly blocks for Scrappiness is Happiness. Pretty quilts to give away.

The Harrison is so beautiful! Love all your quilts!

Love the colors! When I get my UFPs then maybe I can get started on this. 😊 so sorry you have to fix the blocks.
I gave frequent dates with my seam ripper.😅

Happy UN-Birthday Pat!
I often take a photo with my phone to keep track of overall pattern - it definitely helps as a reference when putting blocks together

Piggy is from Farm Girl Vintage 2 book by Lori Holt
I would have ripped that row and dropped it to the bottom and rearranged the middle ones...
I’m pretty sure the cute little piggy block that was sent to you is from Lori Holt. Maybe her first Farm Girl Vintage book if not it’s the second one.
You clearly run on “so stinking cute.”
Love the top you are wearing today. Where did you get it? Also, love the Harrison quilt for the Virginia Quilt Museum.
thank you! at chicos a few years ago
Whoa! You've got cherry blossoms, I've got 16* and snow! Pfffftttt! 🤨😵💫
I fold mine like you do, I want to see what I have made and not duplicate it😂😂

hi Sharon! I know very little about vintage textiles. Join a vintage textile group at FB, just do a search
Pat, on Harrisonburg- do you have any ideas for how to make the border blocks a bit faster?
no I don't. Ask in my community, maybe someone does
I have made that mistake also. Had to rip. Just flip it.
When does the summer starlet qal start? I have already made this quilt. But would love to make it again!! And a sew-a-long would be fun!!!
i have not set a day, most likely end of May or early June
How do I find the Harrisonburg block pattern. I love the fabric and the pattern
go to www.vaquiltmuseum.org/shop-online-store
I made a king size quilt with the stars on the back wall.. I love it 🥰 it wasn’t a kit , I made it a long time ago
You are a techie, do you follow any techie bloggers or vloggers?
No I don't.
Sh;ifting it won’t work either then your 1st blocks will be the same. Flip it upside down instead.
