I like what I have just seen. I will be in touch. Thank you, take care and have a great new year. Stewart
Good tutorial. Seriously considering building one of these. Energy bills are ludicrously expensive in all fairness and on the increase as well.
I made it. I used inplix scripts for that. It was pretty easy to make it
Hi, how to clean up the solder flux after soldering? Thanks
its alot easy and quicker to solder all the top tabbing wire then line them all up and do all the bottom.
i found when building cells if i get fine solder and keep adding a bit to the tabbing wire as i move it along the strip and the bond is perfect every time pre flux solder is the better to use
I don't understand - what holds the tabbing wire to the cell? Is the cell pre-tinned with solder already?
I bought instructions from inplix and I builded it very very cheap.
What's the temperature in your case ? I had to push it to 400deg Celsius for melting to occur, a lot more than usual solder. Thanks for the video btw
it has to be silver based, u can use tin, but never lead, silver is the best conductor
what are you using to solder? tin/pb?
On inplix page are instructions if you want to learn how to build it yourself just take them
